The film “Bad Newz,” starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, directed by Anand Tiwari, is now all set to release on July 19, 2024. The movie aims to sell over 50,000 tickets on the first day.

“Bad Newz,” directed by Anand Tiwari and starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, has already sold 22,000 tickets on top of the chain for the opening day as of 10 am prior to the release. The film is trending well towards selling 50,000 tickets by the end of the advance sale, keeping it on track for an opening of Rs 9-10 crore.

The advance bookings for “Bad Newz” are on par with this year’s successful release of “Crew,” which catered to the same audience and earned a net of 80 crore in India and 150 crore worldwide.

Out of the 22,000 tickets sold, approximately 18,000 were sold in PVR Inox and 4,000 in Cinepolis. “Bad Newz” has benefited from the chemistry of its lead actors – Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk – and its aggressive marketing strategy.

The trailer and songs have been received exceptionally well. Overall, things look promising for this romantic comedy, and positive word of mouth should help it reach 100 crore nett. The challenge for the movie will be in its second week, where it will have to compete with the box office juggernauts “Deadpool” and “Wolverine.”

“Bad Newz” is a spiritual sequel to “Good Newwz,” which was a box office superhit, grossing around Rs 200 crore in India and over 300 crore worldwide with an opening day collection of almost Rs 20 crore nett.

If “Bad Newz” continues trending like “Good Newwz,” it could mean significant success for the producers, exhibitors, and distributors, potentially earning a net of Rs 100 crore in India and Rs 150 crore worldwide.

First Look is Out #ValourAndLove, an @ilaiyaraaja musical.” In the first poster, Vijay is depicted screaming in the middle of a field, holding a machete in his hand, while the second poster presents a softer scene, featuring Vijay pushing a bicycle through serene fields with Manju Warrier by his side.

Building on the success of its predecessor, Viduthalai Part 2 aims to further unravel Perumal’s complex character and his journey, promising to captivate audiences with its depth and emotional resonance. The film also sees the return of essential actors such as Soori, Rajeev Menon, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Chetan reprising their roles.

In the most recent episode of Bigg Boss OTT 3, an intense verbal clash unfolded between contestants Sai Ketan Rao and Lovekesh Kataria, sending shockwaves among viewers. The incident commenced innocuously enough with Lovekesh making a passing comment about another contestant, only to be swiftly challenged by Sai for unwarranted interference. What began as a mere disagreement quickly snowballed into a fiery argument within the confines of the notorious reality show.

Tensions reached a boiling point when Sai, in a fit of vexation, hurled a piece of Bigg Boss property in Lovekesh’s direction, intensifying the already charged atmosphere. Sai’s subsequent shirt removal and aggressive approach towards Lovekesh alarmed onlookers, but prompt intervention from Ranvir Shorey averted the situation from escalating into a physical altercation.

The public outcry following the ruckus was palpable as citizens took to social media to express divergent opinions. While some defended Sai Ketan, attributing his reaction to Lovekesh’s provocation, others rebuked both contestants for their use of abusive language and aggressive demeanour. This discord not only shed light on varying perceptions of acceptable conduct in a reality show environment but also underscored the blurred lines between entertainment and conflict.

As tensions simmered within the Bigg Boss house post-incident, the repercussions of this heated exchange are anticipated to reverberate through the contestants in the days ahead. The incident, stirring a frenzy of commentary from spectators and critics alike, serves as a poignant reminder of the emotional rollercoaster and social intricacies inherent in the realm of reality television.

Meanwhile, in a swift turn of events, Adnaan Shaikh’s entry into Bigg Boss OTT 3 as a wildcard contestant—following Chandrika Dixit’s recent eviction—was short-lived as he faced immediate expulsion for sharing information from outside the house with the contestants, marking a surprising twist in the ongoing drama within the Bigg Boss domain.
