Prabhas, Dhanush heap praises on Kantara, checkout the Twitter reactions

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara is creating a lot of buzz on the internet since its release. The movie has broken the record of Rocking star Yash’s KGF Chapter 2, and has become the latest film from Kannada cinema that has received that much love from the viewers with its breath-taking visuals, music, epic storytelling and unforgettable climax.

For the unversed, Kantara is a small-budget thriller which originally hit the silver screens on September 30 and became a blockbuster in Karnataka. Later, the word-of-mouth for this thriller drama started spreading like a wildfire. 

Even though Kantara was released in the regional language but still with the complexities to understand Kannada language, people in the Hindi belt made their ways to theatres to watch this film with English subtitles.

Later on the public demand, the makers of the film decided to dub the film in Hindi language and was released on October 15, Friday. The film got competition with Ayushman Khuranna’s Doctor G, which also hit the silver screens on Friday.

And just like how it went in Karnataka, people went gaga over the Kantara and several actors and critics not only loved the film but also shared rave reviews. Taking to Twitter, users loved the film and praised the actor’s performance. Check out the Twitter reactions here:

On Friday, Baahubali famed actor, Prabhas also took to Instagram to share his review of the film and revealed that he had watched it twice. He wrote that he had watched Kantara twice and had an extraordinary experience. He also said that it has a thrilling climax and is a must-watch in theatres.

Earlier, The Gray Man actor Dhanush also praised Kantara and took to Twitter and wrote, Mind blowing and further said this is a must-watch film. Rishab Shetty’s Kantara has become the highest-rated film got an overall 9.7 rating on the IMDb by surpassing Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2.

Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan is roaring at the world box office. Where there was a decline in the collection of the film in India on the third day, now there has been a rise in the collection of Pathaan on the weekend i.e. on the fourth day of its release. Meanwhile, the film has become the first film to join the club of 200 crores at the earliest. With this Pathaan has now left Bahubali 2 and KGF 2 behind in the race.

Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, seems to be creating a ruckus at the box office on Saturday. As per the early trends, the action packed Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer thriller has earned in the range of Rs 54 crore on its fourth day. While its total collection in India has crossed 200 in India.

Talking about the full earnings after the release of Pathan in India, on January 25, the film had earned Rs 56.75 crores in All India. 68 crores all over India on the second day. Whereas on the third day only Rs 38.75 crore was earned. On the other hand, after the fall of the third day, there has been a jump on the weekend i.e. on the fourth day and the film has earned Rs 54.50 crore in All India. It is worth noting that the film has grossed Rs 221.25 crore in India, due to which the film has left Bahubali 2 and KGF 2 far behind.

Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the silver screen after four years, which was not only being discussed in India but in the world has created storm at the box office. Not only this, the worldwide collection of the film had crossed 300 crores in just three days and latest trends show that the film has collected 400 crores on Saturday.

Stardust has completed 50 years in the industry. An event was organized on this occasion, in which B-Town celebs made a splash. Photos and videos of the red carpet are going viral on social media, where Bollywood actors made glam appearances. But the most talked about look was of actor Bhumi Pednekar’s, who flaunted her abs in a cutout gown.

Many Bollywood stars including Karthik Aryan, Anupam Kher, Sonu Sood, Raveena Tandon, Rekha graced the Stardust red carpet. While Vaani Kapoor looked stylish in a metallic gown, Bhumi Pednekar grabbed everyone’s attention in an emerald green gown. Bhumi’s look was the most discussed, in which she was seen flaunting her abs with dark eyes, nude lips and tied hair. Bhumi’s toned figure garnered a lot of applause from the people.

Apart from this, Raveena Tandon and Rekha were seen taking selfies together on the red carpet. Raveena wore a silver and black color dress, while Rekha looked very beautiful in a black, golden color saree with a gajra. Vani and Bhumi remained the topic of discussion throughout the event. For the unversed, Bhumi Pednekar has done very challenging roles in her career so far. His performance in Bala, Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Raksha Bandhan and Govinda Mera Naam was highly appreciated. Apart from this, she is working hard for her upcoming films. Rakhi Sawant's mother Jaya Bheda dies in Mumbai, was battling cancer

Rakhi Sawant’s mother Jaya passed away yesterday i.e. on January 28. She was admitted to Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital in Mumbai for a long time. Rakhi’s mother was battling cancer and brain tumour. Jaya’s demise was confirmed yesterday by the actor and her close friends. Rakhi Sawant was with her mother in her last moments. She was seen carrying her mother’s body outside the hospital. During this, she looked completely unconscious.

Remembering her mother, Rakhi, on her social media wrote that today her mother’s hand has been lifted off her head, now she has nothing left to lose. Today Rakhi’s mother will be cremated in Mumbai.

Rakhi shared a video of the hospital with her mother, remembering her. Rakhi wrote that she loves her mother and that she was nothing without her. “Now who will listen to my call, who will hug me,” she says. Rakhi Sawant did a live chat with her mother on January 9 in which she was seen crying. During this, she said that her mother Jaya has brain tumour and cancer and because of this she is admitted in the hospital. She also appealed to the people to pray for her mother.

Salman Khan came forward to help in 2021

Notably, in April 2021, Rakhi’s mother had undergone surgery to remove a tumour from the gallbladder, which later turned out to be cancer. During that time Salman Khan and his brother Sohail Khan came forward to help Rakhi. Rakhi thanked Salman and Sohail Khan after her mother’s recovery.

Apart from this, a few days back, Rakhi shared a video in which she said that Mukesh Ambani has helped for the treatment of her mother. She said that she wanted to thank Ambaniji. Ambani ji is helping in the treatment of her mother. He has reduced the fees charged in the hospital.

Jackie Shroff, Rashmi Desai, Manyata Dutt, Nisha Rawal, Riddhima Pandit and Ali Goni expressed their condolences on the demise of Rakhi’s mother, as well as consoled Rakhi in this difficult situation.
