Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli visited Mahakaleshwar temple, Ujjain along with his wife on Saturday. The jyotirlinga situated in Madhya Pradesh is regarded as one of the highest. Moreover, the Indian team had previously paid a visit to Ujjain during the Indian vs New Zealand series but then senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul where then having their net sessions.

But now that even the third test has finished in just 3 days, Virat too visited the temple with his wife. Moreover, the 3rd match being played at Indore’s Holkar stadium, Madhya Pradesh too might have added up to the plan.

Virat and Anushka visited the Lord at the Mahakal temple and also attended the aarti. During this, Virat Kohli was seen in completely plain clothes. He was wearing a garland around his neck and was dressed in white. Whereas Anushka was seen in pink saree. Both of them performed aarti and were sitting on the ground.

During this, the priest was also seen explaining something to Virat Kohli. After exiting the temple, Anushka said, “We came here to visit and pray to God.”

Virat’s bat is not doing wonders in Test

Virat Kohli started his Test career in the year 2011 against West Indies. From 2011 to 2019, he scored 7202 runs in just 84 matches at an average of 54.97. During this, a total of 27 centuries came out of his bat. From November 2019 onwards, his batting started declining. Since then, Virat has played 23 matches in Tests, in which he managed to score only 1028 runs at an average of 25.7. During this, not a single century has been scored.

Virat has not been able to score a single half-century in Tests since March 2022. He scored the last half-century against South Africa in January 2022. That was his last Test as captain. In such a situation, it is expected that after taking the blessings of Mahakal, Kohli will do wonders in the Ahmedabad Test as well. His fans believe that after visiting Nirmal Karoli Baba’s ashram in Rishikesh also helped Virat, and he scored two back-to-back centuries in ODI.

The teaser of Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayana has been released, offering the first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama. The film, which is planned as a two-part cinematic project, is scheduled for a Diwali release later this year.

The teaser shows several key moments, including scenes from the coronation and the exile period in the forest of Panchavati. Ranbir Kapoor appears in the role of Rama with a calm and composed presence. The teaser also briefly shows Yash in the role of Ravan towards the end.

Ahead of the teaser launch, Alia Bhatt shared a video message on social media asking audiences to support the project and Ranbir Kapoor’s work on the film. In the video, she said the “Rama unit” video would be released and encouraged audiences to watch and support the film.

Budget and scale
