The much-awaited Sony PlayStation 5 is available for pre-order at Sony Center in India today. Both the PS 5 standard edition with a disc drive and PS 5 digital edition is currently available across the country.

The pre-ordering began at 12 pm noon IST and those who are willing to grab it can log in to the Sony Center website, Shopatsc.com. As per the Sony Center website, users who will pre-order the PlayStation 5 consoles will receive their order by November 10.

Sony PlayStation 5 prices:

The PlayStation 5 has been priced at Rs 49,990 in India for the standard edition and the digital edition has been priced at Rs 39,990.

How and where to pre-order Sony PlayStation 5?

Users can pre-order from Sony India’s retail shops’ website ShopAtSC. The website offers free home delivery and chooses to pick up options from the nearest store. The EMI option is also available on the website.

The PlayStation 5 went for pre-orders on October 4 last time and multiple retailers like Reliance Digital, Amazon, Croma, Flipkart, Game Loot, Games The Shop, Gamer Card, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales accepted the pre-orders.

Sony PS 5 Pro expectations

Meanwhile, PS 5 Pro is hitting headlines as Sony is upgrading the gaming system. It is expected to launch from late 2023 to mid-2024. However, Sony is yet to release an official confirmation about PS 5 Pro release.

It is being speculated that PS 5 Pro will have Zen 4 architecture CPUs and RDNA 3 architecture GPUs. It will also have 8K gaming and a TPD of a minimum of 300W. The system is said to be priced between Rs 45,000 to Rs 53,000.

Xiaomi launched its Redmi A3 smartphone in India on Wednesday at a starting price of Rs 7,299. The Redmi A3 comes in Halo design on the back, which is usually seen in more expensive Redmi smartphones. The Redmi A3 is priced at Rs 7,299 for the 3GB RAM/64 GB storage variant and Rs 9,299 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant.

The smartphone will go on sale from Februray 23 and can be bought from Mi.com, Flipkart and other retail outlets. The Redmi A3 features a 6.7-inch HD+LCD Display with a resolution of 1650×720 pixels and support for a 90 Hz refresh rate. The budget smartphone also features a waterdrop style notch which has the front facing camera with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top.

The Redmi A3 smartphone is powered by the octa-core Media Tek Helio G36 chipset which is paired with upto 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and upto 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage (which is expandable upto 1TB via the dedicated micro SD card slot). The smartphone runs on the company’s proprietary MIUI 14 custom skin based on the Android 13 operating system.
