Vivo has finally announced the launch date of one of their awaited phone of the year V20 pro in India. The company said in a tweet that it will launch V20 pro on December 2. The company has already dropped a trailer where it showing the phone design but the teaser did not reveal anything about the device.

Ahead of the launch of the Vivo V20 Pro, there are speculations that the phone will launch at a price between Rs 29,999 to 32,999. According to the reports, Vivo’s V20 Pro will be up for sale through offline retail stores across the country with a variety of launch offers.

Vivo V20 Pro: Specifications

According to the reports, the Vivo V20 Pro will come with the 5G support with the single 8GB + 128GB storage variant. The phone expected to come in three colour options – Moonlight Sonata, Midnight Jazz, and Sunset Melody. The phone will have a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with dual front-facing cameras. The phone’s display is also said to be is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The phone will have a Snapdragon 765G chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. For cameras, the Vivo V20 Pro is tipped to get a triple rear camera system that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor. At the front, the phone is tipped to feature a dual-lens set-up with a 44-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. Keeping the lights on the Vivo V20 Pro will be a 4,000mAh battery and supports 33W flash charge.

As for the design, ahead of the phone’s launch, the phone is set to become the slimmest 5G phone in India at launch. According to the reports, Vivo is focusing heavily on the design of the device, with the V20 Pro set to emerge as one of the sleekest phones among others in the Vivo’s phone series.

Coca-Cola set to launch smartphone? Check details

The leading soft drink company Coca-Cola is expanding its business, but this time not in terms of carbonated beverages. The firm took the whole U-turn and decided to try the hands technology industry. It also has been reported that the firm is all set to launch its first smartphone in the country in the upcoming months. Yes, you read it right.

A tech information provider Mukul Sharma confirmed the news on Twitter. While announcing the news, he claimed that the firm partnered with a leading smartphone firm and is likely to drop the handset in the market by end of the March this year or the start of April. However, the company has not revealed or shared any related news about the same as of now.

Sharma also shared Tweeted the image of the handset and wrote here’s the all-new cola phone. Can confirm that the device is launching this quarter in India. Coca-Cola is collaborating with a smartphone brand for this new phone, he added in his tweet.

As per the image shared by the tech influencer, it shows a smartphone in red color, having a dual camera setup at the rear with the company’s name covering the whole back panel. The phone also featured volume control buttons on the side and a flashlight nearby to its lens. While its edges were seen not so sharp, similar to iPhone 11 series.

Currently, information such as price, specs and processor not have been shared. But, it is expected that the handset might come with the latest android update and might feature the advanced MediaTek dimensity 1200, which will make the phone lag free. The report also suggested that the handset will come with advanced features like facial recognition, fingerprint sensor and voice.

As far as the price is concerned, reports suggested that the company might introduce the phone in the price bracket of Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000.

Reliance Jio on Tuesday rolled out its True 5G service in 50 cities across 17 states and Union Territories expanding the Jio 5G network across 184 cities in India.

In a statement, the telecom giant dubbed it as one of the largest rollout of 5G services in the world. The telco said it has stepped up the speed and intensity of rolling out its True 5G services across the country in its bid to help every user experience the “transformational benefits” of Jio True 5G technology in 2023.

Jio added that it aimed to rollout its True 5G services across the entire nation by December 2023. The statement thanked the governments of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal for their “continuous support in our quest to digitize every region.”

A Jio spokesperson said that existing Jio users will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer to start using 5G services on their device. The telco will off 5G unlimited data up to 1 Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost.
