Congress and BJP have jointly criticised Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann after he linked recent blasts near defence sites to political motives, triggering a controversy.
The Punjab Police on Thursday arrested five suspects after another low-intensity blast was triggered near Amritsar’s famed Golden Temple.
The second explosion took place almost at the same spot in Heritage Street, where a previous explosion was reported on May 6.
It is reported that the blast took place in Kotla Kazian village in Ajnala tehsil of Punjab's Amritsar district.
