Amid the ongoing war between two European countries, Russia and Ukraine several unknown and interesting facts about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are floating on social media. While a section of social media users is crushing over Zelensky, others are googling about his acting and comedy careers.

One of the facts about the President that is grabbing eyeballs is he voiced the children’s film Paddington Bear before taking the charge of Ukraine’s President. Paddington is a popular children’s animated television series based on Michael Bond’s book Paddington Bear.

The fact was brought to attention by English actor Hugh Bonneville. He shared the video of the same and tweeted that until that day he had no idea who provided the voice of Paddington Bear in Ukraine. He further thanks President Zelensky.

Volodymyr Zelensky was appointed as Ukraine’s President in 2019 and before that, he had a successful acting career and had entertained millions. As per Fox News, Zelensky became one of the top comedians in Ukraine by 2010. In 2015, he bagged a role in Servant of the People where he actually played the President of Ukraine. The plot of the show revolves around a school teacher whose rant on politics goes viral on the internet and he further becomes the President of the country.

As per IMDb, the Ukrainian president has eight credits as a writer apart from his acting and directing career. In 2019, Zelensky was elected as Ukraine’s president. According to reports, he campaigned online for his presidential role and went on a comedy tour and made fun of his opponents.

Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan, who appeared in several Hindi films and was particularly remembered for his role in the 2007 comedy Welcome, has died at the age of 56.

Khan was known for playing supporting characters across Hindi cinema and had worked in films spanning several decades. His role as Balu in Welcome remains among his best-known performances.

Mushtaq Khan’s film career

Mushtaq Khan appeared in a wide range of films during his career. His filmography included Aashiqui, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Gopi Kishan, Krantiveer, Raja, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jodi No. 1 and Hera Pheri.

He also featured in more recent films including Stree 2, Gadar 2, Baby John, Dhoom Dhaam and Jaat. His filmography lists acting work continuing into 2026.

In Welcome, Khan played Balu, a supporting character in the comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and other prominent actors.

Mushtaq Khan dies at 56

The actor’s death was reported on September 24, 2026. Reports said Khan had been undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with liver cancer and had been hospitalised for around 15 days. Further details surrounding his death were awaited in the initial reports.

The newborn is the couple’s second daughter. Deepika and Ranveer became parents for the first time in September 2024, when they welcomed their daughter Dua.

Just a day before the announcement, Deepika Padukone visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple with Ranveer Singh and his parents.
