Celebrity couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have made their debut in a new advertisement for an air conditioner, marking their first collaboration since the birth of their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh. On Sunday, the brand shared a charming video featuring the duo on Instagram, generating considerable excitement among fans.

In the advertisement, Ranveer humorously points out that their party guests are more fascinated with the air conditioning than with Deepika’s culinary skills or her storytelling. Following Deepika’s playful annoyance, Ranveer sweetly wins her over, culminating in an affectionate kiss. Viewers have responded warmly, with one delighted fan commenting, “This is the best ad featuring my favorite couple.”

Fans are thrilled to see the couple in action, with one admirer sharing, “This is the sweetest thing I’ve seen all day, although I forgot to bring my popcorn.” Another mentioned, “DeepVeer look so stunning together,” expressing admiration for Deepika’s appearance with comments like, “Ma’am, you’re looking absolutely beautiful.” Many viewers are reminiscing about their on-screen presence, with notes like, “We miss seeing you both on the big screen!”

Deepika and Ranveer, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their daughter on September 8, 2024. They publicly introduced her last Diwali, sharing her name, ‘Dua Padukone Singh,’ alongside a heartfelt message that highlights the significance of her name — “Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love & gratitude.”

The couple last appeared together in the action-packed film, Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. In this movie, Deepika took on the role of Shakti Shetty, the Lady Singham, while Ranveer reprised his character, Simmba. The Telugu-language action comedy, Mad Square, featuring Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Sobhan, and Ram Nitin in lead roles, has garnered acclaim from both viewers and critics. Directed by Kalyan Shankar, the film has impressively grossed around ₹40 crore at the domestic box office within the first eight days of its release.

In honour of the film’s successful box office performance, the creators hosted a glamorous party attended by numerous celebrities, including the renowned South Indian actor Jr NTR.

At the success celebration, Jr NTR took a moment to congratulate his brother-in-law, Nithin, who is one of the star actors in the film. He expressed immense pride in Nithin’s achievements and shared a heartfelt reflection on their journey together. Jr NTR reminisced about when Nithin first approached him with ambitions of pursuing an acting career, admitting that he had initial reservations about Nithin’s chosen path.

In a lighthearted anecdote, Jr NTR mentioned how Nithin used to feel shy discussing his aspirations, especially after Jr NTR married his sister, Lakshmi Pranathi, in 2011. He humorously recalled how Nithin would often leave the room whenever he visited. Eventually, Nithin mustered the courage to tell Jr NTR, “I want to be an actor.” In response, Jr NTR candidly said, “I cannot support you. You have to figure this out for yourself.”

While reflecting on that moment, Jr NTR admitted he genuinely worried about Nithin’s future in acting. However, he also believed in empowering individuals to forge their own paths. He noted that Nithin never asked for assistance, and today, Jr NTR feels immense pride in Nithin’s accomplishments, attributing his success to the partnerships he has formed with talented directors and producers. Jr NTR is optimistic about Nithin’s bright future.
