Gaba Test Win

The greatest fight back in the history of cricket was when India defeated Australia in their home ground Gaba during the Border-Gavaskar trophy 2020-2021. And now the makers of MS Dhoni are back with another sport venture. But this time it’s a sport documentary on the historic Gaba win, Bando Mein Tha Dum.

This win will always be very special for the Indian fans and cricket team because India has defeated Australia on their home ground after 32 years. That too, when neither the players were fully fit to play nor were the senior players a part of the team.

As stated by the foreign media, it was an inexperienced Indian team aiming to play for their self-respect. Instead, it was the same injured inexperienced Indian team that thrashed Australian team at Gaba and told the world what Indians actually aimed at.

Gaba Test win was not only historic but also inspiring for us, and now having an original documentary on it was something worth applauding. As soon as the makers reveled the trailer of Bando Mein Tha Dum, it was appreciated for the right reasons.

Bando Mein Tha Dum will feature Indian as well as foreign players, journalists and coaches talk about their mindset and experience about the Gaba Test win. Just like 83 movie, this web series will also portray India’s historic win over a foreign country in foreign land.

And just like in 83, the Gaba win was also not easy for the Indian Team. The team got all out for just 36 runs, Virat Kohli was leaving the series mid-way due to the birth of his first-born and Indian team was filled with injured inexperienced team.

But that’s when then captain Ajinkya Rahane took over captaincy and led the team to defeat arrogant team Australia in their home ground after 32 years. Showcasing the same, Bando Mein Thad Dum will release on June 16 only on Voot Select.
