IND vs AUS T20: Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s wife hits back at trolls, advises them to make themselves better

Team India will next play against Australia in Nagpur on September 23 in the second T20I.

Cricket and cricketer in India gets enormous love but in tough times, the viewers also don’t hold back and give out immense hate as well. And something similar happened after India lost to Australia in the first T20 match at Mohali.

India skipper Rohit Sharma, who himself could not score big during the first innings led Men In Blue, who were outplayed by a confident and ruthless Australia in Mohali’s series opener on Tuesday.

This loss of Team India did not only showed their poor bowling side but also questioned the disgraceful selection of not in-form-player by the Indian team management. The skipper Rohit, also pinned the blame on the ineffective and inconsistent Indian bowling side during the post-match presentation.

And the two bowler who who have out the maximum runs in the last powerplay were Harshal Patel and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Soon after the match was over, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was trolled on social media and viewers even criticized the Indian pacer in every comment section.

And it seems like Bhuvi’s wife Nupur had had enough of the social media trolls that she decided to hit right back at them. Nupur took to his Instagram account and posted a story, where she wrote that people now-a-says have become so worthless that they mostly spread hate and envy.

Nupur didn’t stop there and went ahead and gave an advise to trollers that they should try to make themselves better rather than spreading hate. However, she ended by writing that she sees less scope of people minding their own business rather than putting someone else down.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave out 40 runs in the Super 4 clash against Pakistan in Asia Cup and he also another dreadful 14-run 19th over against Sri Lanka which pushed India out of the tournament. And during India vs Australia first T20 match, Bhuvi gave 42 runs in four overs.

But what people are forgeting that it is the same player who was the main player in helping India defeate Pakistan in their inaugural match of Asia Cup 2022. And its the same Bhuvneshwar Kumar who took abother five-wicket haul against Afghanistan in the last match of the same tournament.

However, he didn’t even get the right amount of appreciation of that spell as the former Indian skipper Virat Kohli had hit his 71st century after almost three years on the same day and social media was all about Kohli and the Meerut boy got over shadowed.

The much-anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 encounter between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) has hit a weather hurdle. Scheduled to take place at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, the toss for Match 13 has been officially delayed due to persistent rain in the city.

Rain intensifies at Barsapara Stadium

The Guwahati weather has taken a turn for the worse as heavy drizzle forced the groundstaff to keep the pitch and square under covers. While the rain had momentarily eased, allowing for a brief inspection, it returned shortly after, frustrating both fans and players. According to media reports, the probability of rain during match hours has surged to nearly 50%, a significant increase from earlier forecasts.

Cut-off time and over reductions

As the clock ticks, the pressure on the match officials increases. Overs were scheduled to start being reduced from 8:40 PM IST. For those hoping for at least a shortened game, the cut-off time for a minimum five-over-a-side contest has been established at 10:56 PM IST. The city remains under a weather alert, with cloud cover expected to be a major factor throughout the evening.
