Madhya Pradesh: 5 children drown in Katni river

In a spine-chilling incident, five children drowned in the river in the Katni district of Madhya Pradesh. The incident is reported from the Devra Khurd of the NKJ police station area on Monday.

According to the reports, the children had gone for a picnic to celebrate a friend’s birthday at the ghat in Katni. Siddharth Rai, SI of NKJ PS, said five children left their homes for a picnic at the ghat at around 12 pm. The parents got worried when the children didn’t return, even after dark and their clothes were found on the banks of the river.

After receiving the information about the incident, the police then reached the spot and started the rescue operation along with the diving team of Katni SDRF. Sunil Jain, Superintendent of Police, Ramanuj Toppo, Additional Collector, and officers and police force reached the spot and started the evacuation process.

The diving team boarded the boat and recovered their bodies. The officials said they found the cooking utensils, clothes, and slippers lying on the side of the pier.

The Katni river ghat is located one kilometer away from the village. The deceased are identified as Mehpal Singh (15), Sahil Chakravarti (15), Surya Vishwakarma (15), Aayush Vishkarma (13), Anuj Soni (13). The officials said the children died due to drowning in deep water.

The villagers informed the police that the children had gone for a picnic to celebrate Aayush’s birthday.

The police are further investigating the matter.

A similar incident took place in Coimbatore on Sunday when two youths drowned in the Sarabanga river. On Sunday evening, the duo, along with their friends, went to the Sarabanga river to bathe but due to rain, the water flow in the river was high and the duo was washed away.

Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan has a special message for the Indian cricket team who are getting ready to play the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The legendary actor shared a video in which he assumed the role of Ashwatthama, his character from the upcoming film, Kalki 2898 AD, and motivated the players of the Indian cricket team for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The video was shared by the official social media accounts of the Nag Ashwin film, Kalki 2898 AD and began with Amitabh Bachchan announcing, Ye mahayudh hai, ab hoja tu taiyaar (This is a war, get ready for it). Through his poetry, the megastar tried to pump up the players as he said, Ab ban ja veer, buland kar le apni taqdeer, dikha dum, laga dum (Now, become brave, elevate your destiny, show your strength, put in effort). The video has gone viral on social media with 87,505 likes till now which are only increasing.

As the Bollywood star narrated the poem with the background music of Kalki 2898 AD playing, visuals of the Indian cricket team played on the screen. Players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya, were seen along with former players like Harbhajan Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni celebrating their victory on the cricket ground in the viral video.

In the end of the video the actor concluded with Maan mat tu jeet se kam, garv se uthe har matha, ye mahadwand hai, mahayudh, virodhi se tu nazrein mila, ab hoja tu taiyaar (Do not belittle yourself in front of victory, let every head rise with pride, this is a great struggle, a great battle, meet the opponent eye to eye, now get ready).

Pushpa Pushpa: Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2 first song released

The first song from Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, was released on May 1 by the maker of the film. Devi Sri Prasad wrote the song Pushpa Pushpa, which is sung by Nakash Aziz and Deepak Blue in addition to Chandrabose’s lyrics.

The lyrics of the first single, which has a duration of 4 minutes and 19 seconds, celebrate Allu’s character Pushpa Raj. Scenes from the movie are woven throughout the lyrical video, with the song’s words placed on them.

Those who missed Allu’s dance in Pushpa: The Rise will get another chance to see him perform. According to the makers, the actor does a chai step, a phone step, and a shoe drop step.

Allu Arjun’s character and others are described in the powerful lyrics. The song’s catchy melody will undoubtedly be at the top of the charts for many days to come. The song is released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali languages. T Series is releasing Pushpa 2: The Rule’s soundtrack worldwide.

The teaser for Pushpa 2 was also unveiled earlier this month on Allu Arjun’s birthday by the makers of the film. In the teaser, Allu was seen wearing a saree and sporting blue and red makeup. To make the look intense, he wore traditional gold and flower jewellery along with the heavy makeup.

In Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu, Rashmika, and Fahadh will play Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, respectively. The film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Brahmaji, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in key roles. It is a follow-up to Pushpa: The Rise, which was released in 2021.

The film which is scheduled to release on August 15 this year, can see a cameo appearance of Samantha Ruth Prabhu. It’s also expected that Sanjay Dutt will have a unique role in Pushpa 2: The Rule.
