Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway is about a Bengali woman who lives happily with her husband and their two children in Norway. However, everything was good until one day, the Norwegian government takes their children away because they think Debika and her husband are unfit to take care of the kids.

The government does not understand the Indian culture of feeding the kids by hand, sleeping with parents in the same bed, or putting ‘kala teekas’ on the kids, and claims Mrs. Chatterjee is mentally unfit, hence they put the children in foster care.

The film is based on real-life events. It talks about how the foster care system aims to earn more money by taking unethical steps and snatching children away from their parents.

Rani has already left her fans and Bollywood in awe with her heart-wrenching performance in the trailer. After Bunty aur Babli 2, fans are thrilled to see her in what’s being termed her best performance to date. Praises for her acting are pouring in from all over social media, and people can’t wait to see the film.

Talking about the film, Rani said that Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway is very special to her and she can’t wait to see the reactions of her fans on the trailer.

The film is being produced by Nikkhil Advani, who said that it is a matter of pride and responsibility with which they have made the film and they are delighted to bring the inimitable Rani Mukerji to the audiences.

Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway will release in theatres on March 17, 2023.
