Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan turned 55 years old today, August 16. His wife and actor Kareena Kapoor took to Instagram to share an adorable birthday wish for her husband, where she called him her ultimate lover.

Kareena posted a snap of her husband by the poolside that was adorable. In the picture, the couple can be seen posing while taking it easy.

Saif Ali Khan’s first marriage to his ex-wife, Amrita Singh, has always been the talk of the town. Their stories of romance and age differences had always made headlines. Saif married Amrita in a secret wedding in October 1991. After this, they had their share of ups and downs and remained with each other for almost ten years until their divorce. After many controversies, Saif Ali Khan divorced Amrita Singh in 2004.

Saif and Kareena fell in love while filming Tashan and tied the knot on October 16, 2012, as per reports. Taimur and Jeh are the two sons of Saif and Kareena Kapoor. In 2016, the couple had their first son named Taimur, and on February 21, 2021, they welcomed their second son, Jeh.

A brutal world built around revenge and espionage

Set around the IC-814 Kandahar hijack and the 2001 Parliament attack, Dhurandhar opens with Ajay Sanyal, an Intelligence Bureau officer played by R Madhavan, who strongly opposes releasing captured terrorists. Despite his resistance, bureaucracy prevails, setting the stage for the covert mission he later leads.

The project introduces its central weapon — Humza Ali Mazari, later revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangil — portrayed by Ranveer Singh with ferocity and emotional depth. Dropped straight into Karachi’s dangerous Lyari district, Humza navigates a nexus of gangs, politicians, and the ISI, with the narrative also touching upon tensions between local Pakistanis and Baloch communities.

Akshaye Khanna nearly steals the spotlight as a feared Lyari gangster inspired by Rehman ‘Dakait’ Baloch. Sanjay Dutt’s portrayal of SP Chaudhry Aslam brings an intimidating presence, while Arjun Rampal’s Major Iqbal leaves a lingering impact despite limited screen time.

Sara Arjun plays Yalina with conviction, and the film also features an unrecognisable Gaurav Gera in a surprise appearance.
