Sidhu Moose Wala, a Punjabi Singer and rapper, was shot dead in May of last year as a result of a plot that, according to sources, originated in Uttar Pradesh.

Numerous people associated with the group responsible for the fatal shooting may be seen wandering around in Ayodhya and Lucknow in new photos from the inquiry. Sources claim that the Bishnoi gang’s initial assignment was to hunt down a prominent white-collar individual in Uttar Pradesh for a big scandal. The gang’s objective, according to insiders, was to assassinate the well-known singer, but it fell through.

The just-made public images were taken not long before Moose Wala’s murder.

Some of the Bishnoi gang’s sharpshooters, including Sachin Thapan Bishnoi, Sachin Bhiwani, and Kapil Pandit, are clearly evident in the photos. After being extradited from Azerbaijan earlier this month, Sachin Bishnoi was brought before a Delhi court and remanded for 10 days in police prison.

Sources claim that Sachin Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi’s closest assistant, spent many days hanging out with other gang members in various UP locations.

According to officials, the images showcase an array of foreign weapons, including contemporary pistols that were expressly brought from Pakistan. The guns used to shoot more than 100 shots at Moose Wala are visible in the pictures.

The Bishnoi gang shooters spent several days in a farmhouse in Ayodhya where they trained with their weapons. A prominent local figure named Vikas Singh owned the farmhouse.

The search for the Bishnoi gang’s accomplices in Uttar Pradesh has now started, according to the investigating agencies. According to sources, Thapan would be taken to Ayodhya by Delhi Police to investigate the case.

Dharmanjot Singh Kahlon, a global arms dealer who is linked with Bishnoi and the mobster Goldy Brar, was arrested in California, US, last week.

Both Brar and Bishnoi are charged with murder. While Bishnoi is detained at the Bathinda Central Jail, Brar is thought to be hiding out in Canada. Kahlon is charged with providing the firearms allegedly used in the murder of Moose Wala.

When Moose Wala was fatally shot on May 29th, 2017 in Punjab’s Mansa region, he was 28 years old. In an effort to reduce the VIP culture in the state, the Bhagwant Mann administration reduced the protection for 424 persons, including him.

Prior to this, the singer was shielded by four armed guards; now, only two armed guards are present.

When they were attacked, Moose Wala and two of his closest companions were travelling to the Punjabi village of Jawahar Ke. Moose Wala was found bleeding profusely and slumped on his seat in their SUV after it had been shot at. When he arrived at the hospital, the doctors had already declared him dead.

TMC chief alleges irregularities in electoral process as BJP secures decisive victory in West Bengal

Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Election Commission of India, accusing it of playing “nasty games” during the recently concluded West Bengal Assembly elections.

Reacting to her party’s defeat, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief alleged that the electoral process was not conducted fairly and raised serious concerns over the role of authorities in the outcome.

According to reports, Banerjee claimed that the mandate did not reflect the true will of the people, suggesting that irregularities and manipulation may have influenced the results. She questioned the credibility of the election process and indicated that her party would review the situation further.

The remarks came after the Bharatiya Janata Party registered a historic win in West Bengal, marking a major political shift in the state.

Banerjee’s criticism adds to a series of allegations made during and after the election period, where she had earlier also raised concerns about counting procedures and the conduct of central agencies.

Despite the setback, the TMC leadership has signalled that it will continue to challenge the results politically, while maintaining that democratic norms must be upheld.

Himanta Biswa Sarma attacks Congress after Assam win, says people made Pawan Khera eat Pera

Himanta Biswa Sarma targets Congress after BJP’s Assam win, saying voters made Pawan Khera eat pera.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma launched a sharp attack on the Congress after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led alliance secured a decisive victory in the 2026 Assam Assembly elections.

Reacting to the results, Sarma took a swipe at Congress leader Pawan Khera, saying that the people of Assam had made him “eat pera,” a remark aimed at highlighting the party’s defeat in the state.

The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) registered a commanding win, marking its third consecutive term in Assam. The BJP itself won a significant number of seats, while its allies — the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) and Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) — also contributed to the alliance’s strong tally.

The victory underlines the BJP’s continued dominance in the northeastern state, with Sarma emerging as the central figure in the party’s campaign and governance narrative.

Political observers note that the scale of the mandate reflects voter support for the party’s leadership and its governance approach, even as the opposition struggled to mount an effective challenge.

With this result, the BJP has further strengthened its position in Assam’s political landscape, while the Congress faces renewed questions over its performance in the state.
