The Bollywood film industry as a whole showered her with birthday greetings on her special day. Ajay Devgn, Tabu’s co-star in Drishyam, posted a video of Tabu sitting inside a car on his Instagram stories. It’s always an adventure, sometimes behind the wheels, sometimes behind the screen, he wrote on social media after sharing the video.

This morning, Kareena Kapoor Khan also posted a monochrome, grey-colored photo of Tabu on Instagram Stories along with the caption, happy birthday, dearest Tabu. Enjoy your day to the fullest, Bebo added.

Filmmaker Farah Khan also posted photos of Tabu with her children, Diva, Anya, and Czar, as well as a another photo in which the two friends are seen posing. In the photo, Tabu was seen cutting her birthday cake while posing for the photographer.

Farah Khan wrote, sharing the photos, she has a one of a kind, whom she calls is different from world, friend since the last 27 years. Farah further said that Tabu disappears on her birthday. The Om Shanti Om director also said, didn’t let her take new pics to post and wants only Anda curry as a birthday gift. So she is forced to put old pics. Farah wished her birthday at the end of the post and said she loves her just the way you she is and also mentioned egg curry is on the way.

Actor Sonali Bendre also sent her birthday wishes this morning, writing on her Instagram stories, Happy birthday to the gorgeous Tabu. I hope you have an amazing year, Sonalli added.

Meanwhile, Tabu has acted in numerous films, such as Fanaa, De De Pyaar De, and Drishyam. She most recently starred in Vishal Bhardwaj’s spy thriller Khufiya, which debuted last month on Netflix.

A brutal world built around revenge and espionage

Set around the IC-814 Kandahar hijack and the 2001 Parliament attack, Dhurandhar opens with Ajay Sanyal, an Intelligence Bureau officer played by R Madhavan, who strongly opposes releasing captured terrorists. Despite his resistance, bureaucracy prevails, setting the stage for the covert mission he later leads.

The project introduces its central weapon — Humza Ali Mazari, later revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangil — portrayed by Ranveer Singh with ferocity and emotional depth. Dropped straight into Karachi’s dangerous Lyari district, Humza navigates a nexus of gangs, politicians, and the ISI, with the narrative also touching upon tensions between local Pakistanis and Baloch communities.
