[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Tuesday (Dec 25) praised Congress’s Sonia Gandhi and party president Rahul Gandhi; saying people should feel “proud of them” as they continue to serve the poor despite assassination of late Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.
Pawar also attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for accusing the Gandhi family of ruining the country and criticized him for doing nothing “when innocents were being killed in Gujarat” during his tenure as chief minister of that state.
Pawar on one hand wants all parties to unite together and contest 2019 election under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership but the same time feels it impossible when it comes to seat-sharing method. UP former CM Akhilesh Yadav and BSP supremo Mayawati keep distance from the party meetings held in favour of Grand alliance. Moreover, Mayawati denied meeting K Chandrashekhar Rao and this makes it clear that she is not in favour of coalition.
Today APN in its popular debate show ‘Mudda’ will discuss on this issue of coalition with Anchorperson Akshay alongwith Congress leader Ghanendra Bhardwaj, BJP leader Sanjay Singh, APN consultant Govind Pant Raju, NCP leader Mahesh Chauhan and SP leader Manoj Yadav
Sanjay Singh was the first to speak and said “Sharad Pawar is confused as he doesn’t know what he wants sometimes he speaks about grand alliance, sometimes he feels fear of seat-sharing system, and sometimes he talks about state wise coalition. As he is well aware that his party is not going to get anything good in states like UP and Bihar.”
Ghanendra Bhardwaj was the second to speak and said “All the parties who are against BJP and RSS are ready to be a part of grand alliance and also ready to contest 2019 election under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership”
Mahesh Chauhan said “Congress is eligible to lead the Grand alliance, being a grand old party and with its victory in MP, Rajassthan and Chhattisgarh, Rahul Gandhi too has proved his caliber and he also said that Sharad Pawar had also shared the same opinion.”
Speaking over Shard Pawar’s remarks Chauhan said “Sharad Pawar feels that BJP always criticize Gandhi family, which is wrong as the family lost Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi and now also ready to serve the poor and it is a matter to be praised not to be criticized.”
Govind Pant Raju said “If Sharad Pawar is thinking that he can convince all the parties to come together and contest 2019 election against BJP under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership then he is thinking of what is near to impossible. As every political party has its own agenda and each political thinks about its own benefit, so it is obvious that the idea of grand alliance may not work.”
Sanjay Singh said “Sharad Pawar is appreciating Gandhi family because he wants to strengthen its own party in the name of Congress as he knows very well that he cannot gain anything from BJP so he is criticizing saffron party.”
He also added that “The parties which are ready to contest 2019 election with BJP are also gaining from the party that’s why they are ready to be a part of it.”
SP leader Manoj yadav said “There is no problem in coalition but the leadership must be given to the strong party, and it is well known that SP has good command in UP.”
Ghanendra Bhardwaj said “If Sharad ji is thinking of the grand alliance then we should appreciate him and also the Congress party is in favour of grand alliance and wants all parties to unite together and contest 2019 election against BJP under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership.”
After the discussion it has come to our knowledge that the parties which share the similar opinion on political principle disagree when it comes to seat sharing system and the face of the grand alliance.
