Filmfare Awards 2023: Gangubai Kathiawari takes home 10 trophies, Alia Bhatt, Rajkummar Rao win best actor, check full list of winners

Yesterday’s night turned out to be a spectacular one for the entertainment industry as some of the biggest names in the Bollywood industry won the black lady. The 68th edition of the Filmfare Awards was held on April 27 at Jio World Conventional Centre in Mumbai last night.
Salman Khan for the first time hosted the Filmfare Awards, along with Ayushmann Khurrana and Maniesh Paul.
Alia Bhatt bagged the best actor in a leading role (female) for Gangubai Kathiawadi while Rajkummar Rao won the award for best actor in a leading role (male) for his role in Badhaai Do.

Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani turns 10: Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin reunite
In the first picture, Ranbir Kapoor, who played the character of Bunny in the film, and Deepika, who played the character of Naina, can be seen twinning in black.

Ayan Mukerji directorial Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani completed 10 years of its release on Wednesday, May 31. On this occasion, lead actors from the film, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin, and the team were seen together celebrating the success of the film. Ayan Mukerji posted two photos from the reunion on his Instagram handle, with the caption: Last Night with a red heart emoji.
In the first picture, Ranbir Kapoor, who played the character of Bunny in the film, and Deepika, who played the character of Naina, can be seen twinning in black.
The other photo had Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Ayan Mukerji, Pritam Chakraborty, Siddharth Roy Kapur, and Kunal Kapoor among others.
The film, which released in 2013, revolves around the friendship of four friends, who meet on a trek and fall in love. Soon after the photo surfaced online, it went viral.
Fans went nostalgic and started asking Ayan Mukerji for the sequel of the film. A fan demanded we want another YJHD. Another wondered why the hurry since everyone has grown older now. Others were generally happy and showered their love and affection at the cast and the makers. They were both loving and excited in the messages posted in the comments after seeing their favourite star-cast together.
Meanwhile on Wednesday, Ayan Mukerji posted a heart-felt note to thank fans of the film for showering love to the film over the years. He said making the film was the greatest joy of his life and said he hasn’t watched the film from the beginning to the end even now. But he added that he will continue to watch the film over and over at least once a year since a big part of who he was and how he looked at life in 2013 had been captured on film in YJHD.

Bollywood actors Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor are again in the limelight but this time two were seen together dancing to the track of ‘Balam Pichkari’.

The video was jointly posted by Karisma and Madhuri on her Instagram handle with caption Dance of envy with a strike over it and the word friendship was written instead.
The dance of envy was an instrumental song from their film Dil To Pagal Hai. Madhuri and Karisma starred together in Dil To Pagal Hai along with Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar in a cameo appearance.
Comments on video were diverse as ever, along with the fans, friends from the industry also roped in to comment on the video, Karisma sister and Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote the OG superstars, Bhumi Pednekar wrote icons.
A Fan wrote the favourite OG’s. Another fan added LOLO and Dhak Dhak girl, while many said only Shah Rukh Khan is missing. Actor Sanjay Kapoor said it be timeless.
The video has till now got 649,108 likes on it.
Madhuri Dixit was last seen in Amazon Prime Video’s Maja Ma last year. She also starred the network series The Fame Game co-starring Sanjay Kapoor and Manav Kaul earlier in 2022

She featured in several hit films like Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Judwa and Biwi No 1. She also starred in critically acclaimed films like Zubeida and Fiza. Her Last film was in 2012 titled Dangerous Ishq.

Aamir Khan asks Kapil Sharma why wasn’t he invited to the Kapil Sharma Show?
On Tuesday evening, during the trailer launch of Smeep Kang directed Carry On Jatta 3, Khan and Sharma shared the stage as they attended the event on a special invitation from the makers of the film.

It was the trailer launch of the film Carry On Jatta 3 in Mumbai, where a simple question by Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan to celebrity comedian Kapil Sharma threw visuals of both hugging each other graciously.
On Tuesday evening, during the trailer launch of Smeep Kang directed Carry On Jatta 3, Khan and Sharma shared the stage as they attended the event on a special invitation from the makers of the film.
On the stage during interactions, Khan said he has been spending more time with his family these days and that he had been watching The Kapil Sharma Show for a long time now. Khan praised Sharma saying he has become a big fan of his comedy. He also shared that he had called Sharma to appreciate his comic work.
Kapil Sharma revealed that he had invited Khan three times, However the actor had been unavailable due to some reason. Sharma replied that it would be his good fortune to invite Khan on the show. Khan then said that he would come to the show 100% but he would not be able to come at the time of a movie release. He would surely come any other time to entertain the audience.
Sharma had no words for the superstar and hugged him showing his love for him. Khan’s last film was Lal Singh Chadha which released in August 2022.
The actor also had a cameo in the film Salaam Venky starring Kajol in the lead role. He is also producing a film titled Champions. Speaking about his upcoming projects Khan said that he will feature in a film when he is emotionally ready. The 3-idiots actor last year parted ways with her former wife Kiran Rao ending 15 years long relationship.
Carry on Jatta 3 is a Punjabi comedy movie which is the third part of the Carry on Jatta.
