Prime Video has released the trailer for its upcoming series, “The Bondsman.” The series, produced by Blumhouse Television and Amazon MGM Studios, stars Kevin Bacon in a compelling lead role. All eight episodes will be available for streaming on April 3, 2025.

In this unique series, Kevin Bacon steps into the shoes of Hub Halloran, a bounty hunter who meets an untimely death. However, Hub’s story doesn’t end there; he is resurrected by the Devil and given a second chance at life. His new mission? To capture and return the demons that have escaped from the prison of Hell. This premise sets the stage for an engaging blend of supernatural thrills and dark humour.

As Hub embarks on this perilous journey to confront the demons, he must also navigate the complexities of his estranged family dynamics. With their help—and sometimes hindrance—Hub learns about the sins that led to his own condemnation. This journey of self-discovery ignites a quest for redemption, pushing him to reclaim what he lost: a second chance at life, the possibility of love, and a renewed passion for country music.

The series boasts a diverse cast, including Jennifer Nettles, Damon Herriman, Beth Grant, Maxwell Jenkins, and Jolene Purdy, all of whom will join Bacon in delivering captivating performances. “The Bondsman” is developed by a talented team involving Blumhouse Television, Marker 96, CrimeThink Production Company, and Amazon MGM Studios.

Executive producers for the series include Erik Oleson, who also serves as the showrunner, along with Jason Blum, Jeremy Gold, Chris Dickie, and Chris McCumber from Blumhouse Television. Additionally, Kevin Bacon, Paul E. Shapiro, and Grainger David, who created the series, are part of the executive production team. Erik Holmberg is set to be the co-executive producer.

With its intriguing premise and talented cast, “The Bondsman” promises to be a must-watch series that blends elements of the supernatural with a heartfelt exploration of life’s second chances. Don’t miss the opportunity to catch all episodes when they drop in April!
