Mahesh Babu’s mother Indira Devi passes away at 70 in Hyderabad
Indira Devi’s funeral will take place at Maha Prasthanam and Indira Devi’s mortal remains will be kept at Padmalaya Studios for fans to pay their last respects.

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s mother Indira Devi has passed away in Hyderabad at 70. She was reportedly suffering from various age-related health issues. Admitted to the AIG hospital (Asian Institute of Gastroenterology) in Hyderabad, Indira Devi took her last breath at 4 am on Wednesday.
According to a statement from Mahesh Babu’s family, her funeral will take place at Maha Prasthanam and Indira Devi’s mortal remains will be kept at Padmalaya Studios for fans to pay their last respects.
Mahesh, who was very close to his mother, has always vocally expressed his admiration for his mother. Even last mothers day, he posted a lovely image with her and wrote that that he’s grateful everyday to have her in his life. He even shared a image of her mother with wife Namrata Shirodkar and his children in May this year.
Smt Ghattamaneni Indira Devi, mother of Mahesh Babu and wife of veteran actor Krishna had been suffering from illness for quite some time now. As soon as the news of her death made it to the headlines, fans from all over the world have been paying condolence on social media.
Mahesh Babu fans took to Twitter to support their favorite actor at this tough time. Tweeple wrote, “stay strong anna” and “Rest in peace amma (mother)!!” to give more power to Mahesh Babu to deal with this tough time.
Reportedly, Tamil-Telugu actor Chiranjeevi was the first superstar to reach hospital after the news of Nirmala Devi’s demise had caught the headlines. He reached the the AIG hospital (Asian Institute of Gastroenterology) in Hyderabad and consoled the family.
Currently, the body has been taken from the hospital for her last rites and huge crowd has also gathered around Mahesh Babu’s house. Mahesh Babu’s fans have also been devastated after the news of Nirmala Devi’s demise.

Most recently, CM Stalin also met with the leading characters of the documentary, Bomman and Bellie, and the young elephants Raghu and Ammu. The Tamil Nadu government also announced cash rewards for 91 caretakers at the elephant camps.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has honored the Oscar-winning film by rewarding director Kartiki Gonsalves Rs 1 crore. The documentary film had been on the receiving end of a lot of praise after it won Oscar for the Best Documentary Short in 2023.
As per the reports, on Tuesday, Kartiki Gonsalves met with CM MK Stalin who lauded her work and congratulated her for bagging an oscar. After landing back in Chennai following her win at the Oscars. She met with Tamil Nadu CM and received the Oscar trophy from his hand.
Chief Minister MK Stalin then facilitated the director with a cash prize of Rs 1 crore. He also honored the Elephant Whisperer’s director by gifting her with a shawl.

He further wrote that there is no better news to wake up to than two women bringing the first-ever Oscar for an Indian Production. He also called the documentary film a moving story and said that the documentary deserves all the praises and accolades that it has been receiving.
The Elephant Whisperers
The documentary is a 40-minute-long documentary that one can stream on Netflix. The documentary revolves around the lives of elephant caretakers Bomman and Bellie and also was the directorial debut of Kartiki Gonsalves.

Salman Khan receives death threat once again from Lawrence Bishnoi, security tightened outside his Galaxy Apartment
The email was reportedly sent by Rohit Garg who mentioned that Lawrence Bishnoi wants to meet Salman Khan in person.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again received a death threat from jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Security has been heightened outside his Galaxy Apartment in Bandra West.
Lawrence Bishnoi, whose name had come up during the murder case of Punjabi rapper and singer Sidhu Moose Wala, sent an email to Salman Khan and claimed his life’s goal was to kill the actor.
The email was reportedly sent by Rohit Garg who mentioned that Lawrence Bishnoi wants to meet Salman Khan in person. Bishnoi wants Salman Khan to apologize in public for killing blackbuck in 1998.

The e-mail stated Salman Khan must have seen the interview given recently to a news channel by Lawrence Bishnoi, and if not, he should see it. It further said if Khan wants to close the matter, he should talk face-to-face with Goldy bhai, adding there is still time but agli bar, jhatka dekhne ko milega.
In an interview that was recently aired on a private news channel, Bishnoi urged Khan to apologize or face the consequences. In a threatening letter, Lawrence warned the actor that he would crush his ego sooner or later if he won’t apologize.
Bandra Police has swung into action and booked jailed gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar and Rohit Garg for allegedly sending death threats to Salman Khan. A case has been registered against them under Sections 506(2), 120(b) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
This is not the first time Khan has received a death threat from Bishnoi. Earlier, Salman and his father Salim Khan received a death threat just days after the death of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.

In the promo, Khan could be seen singing for Hegde and the couple goes all mushy with flowers and romantic lights. Jee Rahe The Hum will remind you of the I Love You song from Bodyguard starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will mark the Bollywood debuts of Shehnaaz Gill and Palak Tiwari.
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up outside Salman Khan’s residence Galaxy in Mumbai after the actor received death threats via email.
An FIR was registered against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar by the Bandra Police on Sunday after receiving the email threat. Reports said the sender, in Hindi, wrote that Goldy Brar wanted to talk to Salman Khan in the flesh and close the matter and warned the actor of something shocking.
The police have advised Salman Khan to avoid any outdoor event.
