Randeep Hooda condemns tiger killing in Bihar, slams forest department

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda lost his cool when a tiger was shot dead in Bihar. The Sarabjit actor took to Twitter to express his anger towards Bihar Forest Dpeatrment for shoting the national animal.

For the unversed, a tiger was shot dead on Saturday in Bihar’s West Champaran district after it allegedly killed nine people. The reports of a tiger killing about 9 people has been recorded over the last few days.

Randeep posted a video, where people can be seen stomping and pulling its whiskers. The Bollywood actor posted a strong message and wrote that first the Bihar forest department choose to deploy private hunters to kill a tiger ignoring India’s SOP. But then in complete disregard to the set protocols and death, people can be seen stomping and pulling its whiskers. He further asked if this a way to treat the national animal?

Reportedly, the tiger was shot dead at Valmiki Tiger Reserve (VTR) in Bagaha by a team of forest personnel brought in from Hyderabad and Patna, Chief Wildlife Warden Prabhat Kumar Gupta said.

He further stayed that the personnel had been trying to cage the tiger since last week. The order for the killing was issued as per procedure when it was established that the tiger was accustomed to living in human habitation,” he said.

The tiger allegedly killed nine people over the last few days, officials said. On Friday morning, 36-year-old Sanjay Mahto of Bagahi panchayat was found dead near the tiger reserve. Before that, the tiger had killed 12-year-old Bagadi Kumari of Sigadi village, they said.

However, Bollywood Actor Randeep Hooda, criticized the authorities for violating the standard protocol and people for manhandling the tiger after it was shot. He also shared the video of the incident where people can be seen stomping and pulling the whiskers of the injured tiger.

He also alleged that a private hunter was deployed by the Bihar Forest Department to hunt the tiger against the protocol set by the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA).

The music of Amar Singh Chamkila has been given by the legendary music maestro AR Rahman and Irshad Kamil has given the lyrics. The audience is waiting with anticipation as the trio of Imtiaz, Rahman and Irshad Kamil unite after a time period of 9 years.

Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra have also sung some of the songs of Amar Singh Chamkila. The much anticipated trailer of the upcoming action film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was released on social media on Tuesday. The film has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and the star cast of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan includes Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F.

The trailer opens with a glimpse of the global threat – a dangerous weapon in the wrong hands. The audience is introduced to the 2 heroes Bade Miyan (Akshay Kumar) and Chote Miyan (Tiger Shroff). Despite the fact there is a vast difference in the personalities of the two actors, both of them must join forces to retrieve the weapon and save the day.
