Swara Bhasker is no stranger to online arguments. She is known for being upfront with her views on social media and frequently reacts to trolls and critics. Recently, on her visit to Los Angeles, a strange incident happened with Swara. Veerey Di Wedding actor on Wednesday took to social media where she complained to Uber about the unfortunate incident she had experienced with the Uber driver there.

The actor took to Twitter and wrote that the Uber driver in LA took off with her groceries. She tweeted, Hey Uber Support, one of your drivers here in LA just took off with all my groceries in his car while I was on a pre-added stop! It seems there’s no way to report this on your app – it’s not a lost item! He just took it. Can I please have my stuff back?” she wrote, adding the hashtag tourist problems.

To this Uber support replied that the experience she has suffered with Uber is definitely not up to their standards. We’ve reached out via DM to connect. We want to help make this right for you, wrote Uber Support.

But as soon as she tweeted about her experience, Twitter users didn’t take much time and started trolling her for this. One of the users tagged Uber support and said dont trust her she used to do such things like that to have groceries while another user tweeted Bechari din bhar Jhuth bolkar jaise taise paise kamakar sabji khareedti hai aur usse bhi Uber wale le gaye.

One of the users took a dig at Swara’s As a Hindu I’m ashamed! slogan and said Bol deti Hindu driver in US ran away with your groceries, thoda zor padta tweet mein aur ecosystem bhi aa jaata support mein.

His clarification came after his name had been circulating in discussions about possible contestants for Bigg Boss 20.

Batwara 1947 has had a disappointing run at the box office, and actor Shabana Azmi has now shared her thoughts on why the film may not have connected with audiences. According to Azmi, one possible reason could be the difficulty some viewers had in accepting Sunny Deol as a Muslim character.

The film, which also features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, was released on August 14. It has reportedly earned around Rs 53 crore so far, while Awarapan 2, which released on the same day, has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark.

Azmi also suggested that there may have been confusion among some viewers about Sunny Deol’s character in Batwara 1947. She said that even some people who had watched the film believed Deol was playing a Pakistani character, whereas, according to her, he plays an Indian Muslim.
