Taapsee Pannu has landed in a controversy after the Hing Rakshak Sangathan filed a complaint against her for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments and spreading obscenity.

Pannu, at the Lakme Fashion Week, recently wore a gigantic Laxmi neckpiece along with a plunging neckline red gown which seemed to be a ‘revealing dress’ for a section of people. The actor shared the video of her walking the ramp on her Instagram handle and wrote what the princess gown and queen-like jewels looked like. She also mentioned that the neckpiece is from Reliance Jewels’ Akshaya Tritiya Collection inspired by the majestic Thanjavur.

Reports said the complaint has been registered by a convenor of Hind Rakshak Sangathan and the son of BJP MLA Malini Gaur, Eklavya Singh Gaur.

Walking the ramp of Lakme Fashion Week on March 12, Pannu slayed in an embroidered gown encrusted with sequins. The gigantic golden necklace made her look more captivating as she wooed her fans with her walk. To complete her look, she flaunted her natural curls and opted for minimal makeup to balance the statement jewellery. The plunging neck left space for the neckpiece to fit.

However, Pannu’s look at the Lakme Fashion Week irked a section of people who started moral policing her on social media for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments by insulting Hindu deities.

Eklavya Gaur filed a case against Munawar Faruqui

For those who don’t know, this is the same Eklavya Gaur who filed an FIR against the comedian Munawar Faruqui against his Indore show which landed him in jail for a month and was later granted interim bail. Faruqui was also slammed for insulting Hindu deities in his comedy shows.

Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and AAP MP Raghav Chadha are hogging headlines ever since they were spotted together dining at a restaurant in Mumbai. Social media went bananas over this new rumoured couple leading to their marriage speculations.

Now, AAP MP Sanjeev Arora tweeted his congratulations to Chopra and Chadha for their union. In a tweet, he extended his heartfelt congratulations to the rumoured couple and sent best wishes for their relationship.

However, both Chopra and Chadha have not confirmed the news yet.

When Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chopra were spotted together

It all started when Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were papped twice exiting a restaurant in Mumbai. Upon being asked about the relationship rumour, the AAP MP couldn’t help but blush and playfully replied to the reporter saying he would answer about Rajneeti (politics) and not Parineeti.

The video of his reply was widely circulated on social media.

Moreover, Parineeti Chopra was also spotted outside Manish Malhotra’s residence which fuelled her wedding rumours with Chaddha. A report in Hindustantimes confirmed their relationship and said the couple is at their happy place now and might tie the knot soon.

Another report in India Today also confirmed their relationship and said both families are happy with the couple coming together, however, no dates have been fixed yet for the wedding festivities to start.

The report also said the wedding will take place in the presence of close friends and families and will be a small affair.

On the work front, Parineeti Chopra was last seen in Code Name: Tiranga with Hardy Sandhu and in Unnchai co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, and others. She will be next seen in Chamkila and Capsule Gill.

Rumours of Kapoor dating Rohan Thakkar circulated when she first posted a mushy boomerang with him on her Instagram. However, the couple never confirmed their relationship officially up until now.

Reports said the couple flew to Thailand last year in December to attend a Maroon 5 concert to celebrate Anshula’s birthday. She shared multiple pictures and videos from the event as well.

Rohan Thakkar is a screenwriter who had also worked as a social media marketing executive and copywriter assistant at the Grey Group. He is best known for writing the screenplay of a short film The Novelist which came out in 2016.

On the other hand, Anshula Kapoor, last week, made headlines after she shared a string of bold photos on Instagram and spoke about body positivity. In a post, she opened up about her belief that bodysuits are not for her body shape. However, she decided to fight her inhibitions and own her stretch marks, cellulite, tummy rolls, etc and get the best of her and her insecurities.
