Wishing mother Veena Kaushal on her birthday, Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal shared a video of himself with her. In the video, he is seen getting a good head massage from his mother. The mother-son duo can also be seen smiling. Katrina Kaif has also reacted to mother-in-law’s birthday post.

In the video, Vicky Kaushal can be seen wearing a gray T-shirt and his mother is wearing an ethnic suit. Veena Kaushal can be seen giving a heartfelt oily head massage to his son and when Vicky talks to her she gives a quick smile to the camera. Vicky has also added AR Rahman’s ‘Tu Hai’ song in the background of this video.

Sharing the post on Instagram, Vicky wrote, “Happy Birthday Maa. Aapki maar aur maalish dono mein sukoon hai! Love you.” Katrina Kaif and Neha Dhupia expressed their love by sharing a heart emoji on the post. Reacting to the video, one of Vicky’s fans wrote, ‘Amazing moment.’ Another fan commented, ‘Why are you such a good boy!’

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Sardar Udham Singh. And he will now been seen in biopic on Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The movie is titled, Sam Bahadur and is being directed by the ace director Meghna Gulzar, marking her second collaboration with Vicky Kaushal after the 2017 blockbuster Raazi. Dangal girls Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanaya Malhotra are also a part of this film, and have completed the first schedule of Sam Bahadur.

Apart from Meghna Gulzar’s movie, Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in Govinda Naam Mera featuring Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani. He also has Laxman Utekar’s not yet titled film with Sara Ali Khan. He was recently spotted at the screening of his wife Katrina Kaif’s film Phone Bhoot. The actor praised the film and said that he hopes, this horror-comedy will bring back people to the theatres.

Bhatt addressed the questions he had been receiving from followers on social media and thanked them for their interest. However, he made it clear that he is not part of the upcoming season.

His clarification came after his name had been circulating in discussions about possible contestants for Bigg Boss 20.

Batwara 1947 has had a disappointing run at the box office, and actor Shabana Azmi has now shared her thoughts on why the film may not have connected with audiences. According to Azmi, one possible reason could be the difficulty some viewers had in accepting Sunny Deol as a Muslim character.

The film, which also features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, was released on August 14. It has reportedly earned around Rs 53 crore so far, while Awarapan 2, which released on the same day, has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark.

Discussing the film’s response, Shabana Azmi questioned whether audiences were able to accept Sunny Deol in a Muslim role.

She compared the situation with Amitabh Bachchan’s earlier performances in which he portrayed Muslim characters. Azmi pointed to Deewaar, where Bachchan’s character is associated with the number 786, and said such portrayals had been accepted by audiences.

Azmi also suggested that there may have been confusion among some viewers about Sunny Deol’s character in Batwara 1947. She said that even some people who had watched the film believed Deol was playing a Pakistani character, whereas, according to her, he plays an Indian Muslim.

Azmi said she was surprised by the contrast between the appreciation she had heard from people who watched the film and its weak theatrical performance.
