An animated video clip released by the ruling BJP has showcased Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s marching towards the goal of making India a five-trillion-dollar economy as he brushes aside mountains of allegations and abuses hurled at him by the Opposition

An animated video clip released by the ruling BJP has showcased Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s marching towards the goal of making India a five-trillion-dollar economy as he brushes aside mountains of allegations and abuses hurled at him by the Opposition.
The four-minute-thirty-second animated video, titled “Mujhe Chalte Jaana Hai” (I have to keep walking), starts with PM Modi wearing his trademark Kurta Pajama and the ‘Modi vest’ with a jhola slung across his shoulder (sling bang), climbing a flight of stairs as he walks towards the Prime Minister’s seat in 2014 amid barbs and allegations by Congress top brass like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Mani Shankar Aiyar, and Digvijaya Singh.
Once reaching the PM’s post in 2014—a symbolic representation of his journey from the Chief Minister of Gujarat to the country’s top post—he’s met by former US President Barack Obama who offers him an invite to the United States.

The video, however, makes no mention of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, instead showing PM Modi marching forward as he once again reaches the Prime Minister’s post in 2019, introducing key initiatives like the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, along the way, onwards towards a five-trillion-dollar economy as he walks past a swarm of Opposition leaders levelling allegations against him.
The video makes it a point to showcase the various pro-poor schemes like the Jan Dhan Account and the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, introduced by the Prime Minister to benefit the downtrodden classes of the country during his journey.
As PM Modi marches ahead, he’s met with the same insults and allegation like— “maut ka saudagar”, “chaiwallah”, “chowkidar chor hai” and “Gautam Das”—from Opposition leaders, but the Prime Minister keeps marching forward unfazed. He’s also shown walking a tightrope over a deep chasm while carrying a huge syringe of indigenously developed vaccine during the COVID-19 pandemic.
US President Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and former British premier Boris Johnson also make cameo appearances in the short video, which was shared by several Union ministers.
Obama is first seen alongside Sonia Gandhi as the US denied a visa to Prime Minister Modi when he was the chief minister of Gujarat, later, Obama is shown running up the stairs with a US visa in hand after Narendra Modi became prime minister in 2014, leaving Gandhi frowning.
After the 2019 Lok Sabha win, Biden and Johnson are seen cheering Narendra Modi seated on the prime minister’s chair.
PM Modi is seen walking past a distraught Rahul Gandhi, with the Rafale allegation landing at his feet after the prime minister launched a helicopter manufacturing unit at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and a BBC newsreader reaching out to him in connection with the documentary.
The video ends with Prime Minister Modi marching towards the target of a five-trillion-dollar economy ignoring abuses showered on him.
