Actor Kangana Ranaut’s car was stopped on Friday, December 4 by farmers in Punjab’s Kiratpur Sahib on Chandigarh Una Highway.
The protesters who stopped her car were gathered to demand an apology from the actor for her Khalistani remark on the Sikh community.

The Padma Shree awardee shared videos on her Instagram stories and said that as she entered Punjab, her car was attacked by a mob who called themselves farmers. She also claimed that they would have lynched her if the police wouldn’t have arrived to rescue her. She went on and said that the mob have been hurling abuses at her and threatened to kill her.
Kangana also shared follow up videos wherein she could be seen interacting with women in the crowd and holding their hands. She later exited from the area and thanked the Punjab police and CRPF.
Plea filed against Kangana Ranaut in Supreme Court
On December 1, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court against Kangana Ranaut by a Sikh advocate. The petition sought censoring of all social media posts of the actor in future in order to maintain law and order in the country.
Advocate Charanjeet Singh Chaderpal, who filed the plea against her, demanded to transfer all the FIRs files across the country against Kangana for her remarks on farmers protest to Khar police station, Mumbai.
A few days ago, Kangana had filed an FIR after she received death threats for her remarks on farmers’ protests. She had called the Sikh community Khalistani terrorists following the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take back the controversial three farm laws on November 20.
In her complaint, the actor wrote that she has been receiving death threats from a person on social media. The Manali SP, Gurdev Sharma has said that the police have registered a case under Sections 295A, 504, 505, 506, 509 under the IPC, as reported by ANI.

According to reports, the actor slipped while he was working in the kitchen and got injured. He was taken to hospital where he lost his life.
The 67-year-old actor is survived by his wife Suzanne Bernert, also an actor. The incident took place in Hyderabad, Telangana where he was shooting for an upcoming project.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee had extended his condolence on the death of veteran actor Akhil Mishra. He said the incident was unbelievably shocking.
Akhil was married to a German actor Suzanne Bernert in February 2009. Later in 2011, they got married as per the traditional rituals.
Akhil has worked in several movies like Gandhi, My Father, Don, Shikhar, Kamla Ki Maut, and Well Done Abba. He got his popularity as a librarian Dubey in 3 Idiots movie, starring Amir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani, and Omi Vaidya among others.
The veteran actor was also seen in famous TV shows like CID, Udaan, Hatim and Uttaran among others.
Suzanne Bernert has also worked in several Television shows such as Porus, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Savdhaan India, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
Earlier, Akhil Mishra and his wife Suzanne worked together in the movie Kram. They have worked in TV Shows together like Dewaana, a Doordarshan serial.
They worked in a short film named Manju Ki Juliet as well in 2019.
His last rites were held on September 21 at 3:30 pm at Indralok near Golden Nest. Suzanne had made all the arrangements and preparations for the cremation. She said that her heart was broken and her second half had gone forever.

Shah Rukh Khan’s movie Jawan has crossed the Rs 700 crore mark on its ninth day of release. The film collected Rs 400 crore at its domestic box office on Friday itself and other collections from across different countries.
As per the announcement made by the Jawan team on their Instagram, the film has already grossed Rs 700 crore worldwide. The team held a press conference to celebrate the success of the film on its eighth day. Box Office Worldwide predicts that the film will cross Rs 735 crore on the ninth day, and if it continues at this rate, it is likely to surpass the Rs 1000 crore mark in its third week.
Over the past nine days, the Indian Box Office has experienced a rollercoaster ride with the release of Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan. The film’s first-day collections were remarkable, earning Rs 75 crore, with Hindi contributing Rs 65.5 crore, and Tamil and Telugu contributing Rs 5.5 crore and Rs 4 crore, respectively.
Jawan has had a strong Box Office performance on its 10th day, earning an impressive total gross of approximately Rs 9.95 crore across India through its advance booking.
