There is a rift going on between BJP and Congress in Karnataka after Congress leaders held a rally in the state. Soon after that, the BJP government in the state filed a first information report against some Congress leaders for violating coronavirus guidelines.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that they have registered an FIR against Congress leaders and organisers of the rally. The state government alleged that thousands of people including Congress leaders and party workers defied coronavirus guidelines as they participated in the rally for the second day in a row.

Karnataka Congress has got their hands in the controversy for conducting a rally at the timer when the third wave is around the corner and there has been a surge in daily coronavirus cases.

The state Congress chief DK Shivakumar has also refused to give test samples and said that he is fit and fine and no one can compel him. He further said that he knows the law of this land and the BJP ministers should know that he is fine.

He further said that he won’t give his sample for testing. And there’s no requirement for that.
