Kartik Aaryan to play pilot in Hansal Mehta’s Captain India, film to be produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Harman Baweja

Actor Kartik Aaryan has announced his new film with a first look poster on his Instagram account on Friday. Sharing the poster of his new film Captain India, Aaryan wrote: When a man goes beyond the call of duty. With great pride and honour, we bring to you #CaptainIndia. Aaryan plays Captain India in the film and the poster describes him as an ordinary man, on an extraordinary mission.
In a statement, the 30-year-old actor revealed that Captain India is based on a chapter from Indian history. Captain India will be directed by filmmaker Hansal Mehta and will be co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Harman Baweja.
Captain India is inspired by true events will revisit a moment in time where a man goes beyond his own pain and suffering to save thousands,” said director Hansal Mehta.

News agency PTI reported that Kartik Aaryan said he’s glad to have collaborated with filmmaker Hansal Mehta: “Captain India is inspiring and thrilling in equal measure and it gives me great pride and honour to be a part of such a historic chapter of our country. I have immense respect for Hansal sir’s body of work and this was the perfect opportunity to collaborate with him,” the news agency quoted him as saying.
Just a month ago, on June 23, the actor has announced his forthcoming film titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha. Sharing the first glimpse of the film on social media, Aaryan wrote, “A story close to my heart #SatyanarayanKiKatha. A special film with special people.”

According to reports, the actor slipped while he was working in the kitchen and got injured. He was taken to hospital where he lost his life.
The 67-year-old actor is survived by his wife Suzanne Bernert, also an actor. The incident took place in Hyderabad, Telangana where he was shooting for an upcoming project.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee had extended his condolence on the death of veteran actor Akhil Mishra. He said the incident was unbelievably shocking.
Akhil was married to a German actor Suzanne Bernert in February 2009. Later in 2011, they got married as per the traditional rituals.
Akhil has worked in several movies like Gandhi, My Father, Don, Shikhar, Kamla Ki Maut, and Well Done Abba. He got his popularity as a librarian Dubey in 3 Idiots movie, starring Amir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani, and Omi Vaidya among others.
The veteran actor was also seen in famous TV shows like CID, Udaan, Hatim and Uttaran among others.
Suzanne Bernert has also worked in several Television shows such as Porus, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Savdhaan India, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
Earlier, Akhil Mishra and his wife Suzanne worked together in the movie Kram. They have worked in TV Shows together like Dewaana, a Doordarshan serial.
They worked in a short film named Manju Ki Juliet as well in 2019.
His last rites were held on September 21 at 3:30 pm at Indralok near Golden Nest. Suzanne had made all the arrangements and preparations for the cremation. She said that her heart was broken and her second half had gone forever.
