Prime Minister Narendra Modi today praised Hyderabad-based Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Kompella Madhavi Latha’s appearance on the popular show Aap Ki Adalat, which is presented by Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of India TV.
PM Modi encouraged everyone to watch the most recent episode of Aap Ki Adalat on India TV in his X post. The PM also included a link to Latha’s episode on YouTube.
Taking to social media X, formerly known as Twitter, PM Modi wrote, Madhavi Latha ji’s Aap Ki Adalat episode is exceptional. The PM said, she has made very solid points and has also done so with logic and passion. PM Modi also conveyed his best wishes to her.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded a 49-year-old woman, Kompella Madhavi Latha, as its first female candidate in Hyderabad for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Latha has been the face of the BJP’s fight against triple talaq. She will oppose AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi from Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Madhavi Latha made a prediction on the show that Owaisi would lose by a margin of 1,50,000 votes in this election. Madhavi Latha claimed, if they had bogus votes, they could continuously win for 4,000 years, accusing Owaisi of receiving 6 lakh bogus votes.
She continued by saying, Owaisi possesses 6,20,000 votes that are fake. The same voter ID can appear twice if you enter the same EPIC number on the EC website. He has 1,60,000 fake votes in the Charminar region alone.
Despite Hyderabad’s image as a hi-tech city, the BJP candidate said that the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency is in chaos, citing a recent instance in which a Muslim girl was sold to an Arab man in his 70s.
She said she came to know about her selection from TV news channels in reference to her candidacy against Owaisi. Madhavi Latha said she feels fortunate that, after getting her ticket, she can finally meet PM Modi. She was selected because of her (social) work, as the prime minister didn’t meet her or know her personally.
