Telugu film director SS Rajamouli on Thursday released a new teaser of his upcoming movie Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR). The special teaser introduces Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao aka Jr NTR’s character Komaram Bheem in the film. The makers of the movie wanted to release the teaser on the 37th birthday of Jr NTR’s on May 20 this year but due to the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, they couldn’t complete work on that teaser and moved the release date.

SS Rajamouli’s action thriller which is made on a budget of Rs 300 crore has left no stone unturned to make RRR an international film in terms of graphics, visual effects. Rajamouli has cast British actor Olivia Morris, Hollywood actor Ray Stevenson, Irish actor Alison Doody to play important roles in the movie along with actor Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.

The film is based on a tale about two warriors, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem, and about their journey away from their home before they started fighting for their country in the 1920s. It will be interesting to see two Telugu tribal leaders of different regions, who were born in the same period, disappeared for a few years from their native villages, and took up arms for the rights of their people when they returned and later attained martyrdom fighting British rule.

Rajamouli had said earlier about the Komaram Bheem character that he had no formal education and left his village at a very young age and came back as an educated person in his village. He also fought against the Nizam’s rule for tribal rights. He employed guerilla warfare and died at the hands of the British, Rajamouli added.

Jr NTR ‘s fans are showering their love towards his first look in the movie. The Telugu superstar has been trending on Twitter since morning with the hashtags #RamarajuForBheem and #BheemFirstLook.

Anupam Kher says he’s hugged, patched up with Naseeruddin Shah after old video resurfaces

Actor Anupam Kher has said he has reconciled with fellow actor Naseeruddin Shah after an old video of Shah criticising him resurfaced on social media. Kher’s response came after the clip began circulating again following his recent remarks on the Ayodhya Ram Mandir donation theft case.

Addressing the renewed attention to the clip, Kher said there was no point in revisiting a matter that had already been settled. He said he and Shah had met after their earlier disagreement and resolved their differences, urging people not to judge their current relationship based on past remarks.

The video in question dates to 2019, when Naseeruddin Shah referred to Kher as a “clown” and commented on what he described as his “sycophantic nature,” noting that such traits were widely recognised by Kher’s peers from the National School of Drama (NSD) and the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). Shah’s comments were made in response to Kher’s political views and led to a widely discussed exchange between the two actors.

At the time, Kher defended his stance, emphasising that everyone in a democracy has the freedom to express their opinions. In his recent remarks, he also responded to criticism over his views on the Ram Janmabhoomi issue, questioning why people felt unsettled by his presence and asserting that he would continue to speak his mind regardless of reactions online.

Although the old interview has once again drawn attention, Kher’s latest comments indicate that past differences between the two actors have been resolved. Despite the renewed debate on social media, he has made it clear that there is no lingering personal conflict between them.

Prime Video’s reality series Alliance is set for another major twist, with reports suggesting that fashion designer and entrepreneur Seema Sajdeh will soon enter the show as a wildcard contestant. Her reported entry comes just days after actor-producer Sohail Khan, her former husband, joined the competition as its first wildcard contestant. If confirmed, it will mark the former couple’s first appearance together on a reality show since their divorce in 2022.

Hosted by Kunal Kemmu, Alliance premiered in June 2026 on Prime Video and has quickly gained attention for its strategy-based format. Unlike traditional reality shows, contestants must depend on trust, teamwork and changing alliances to survive. The game begins with 16 celebrity contestants, who enter in pairs with someone they already know. They are divided into four teams: Kings, Warriors, Legends and Hunters. Contestants compete in physical and mental challenges, earn points and face eliminations. After every elimination, new wildcard entrants are introduced, changing the dynamics of the game.

The lineup of original contestants includes Daisy Shah and Zaid Darbar, Ravi Kishan and Riva Kishan, Kushal Tandon and Arslan Goni, Mini Mathur and Nikhil Chinappa, Ruhee Dosani and Niti Taylor, Payal Dhare(Payal Gaming) and Sabby Suri, Vanshaj Singh and Dolly Javed, and Delbar Arya and Armaan Khera.

Sohail Khan’s participation is significant as it marks his first appearance as a contestant on a reality show, despite previously judging television programmes. Before entering the house, he told photographers, “Please support me,” expressing excitement about taking on a new challenge.

Seema Sajdeh and Sohail Khan were married for over two decades and share two sons, Nirvan Khan and Yohan Khan. Although they separated in 2022, both have maintained that they continue to co-parent their children harmoniously. If Seema joins Alliance, viewers will witness the former couple sharing screen space in a game built on trust, strategy and shifting relationships, making it one of the season’s most anticipated developments.

During this period, many people in the industry advised him to stay visible by attending social events, hosting parties, and sending gifts to influential people. His directorial debut also received appreciation from audiences and critics, showing his ability to take on different creative roles in the industry.
