WhatsApp now allows users to create and send customized stickers ahead of Diwali 2021, a step-by-step guide

Facebook-owned Whatsapp is making every effort to hook the users on the app with unique and creative updates. The instant messaging app is making users’ experiences more memorable and special with Whatsapp stickers. Now, you can create your own sticker with your face in it. Isn’t it cool?
Instead of sending those forwarded Diwali wishes, photos, and videos every year, you can now send your own customized WhatsApp stickers. As many people are not aware of how these stickers are made with their names and photos on WhatsApp, here’s how you can create them.
- If you want to create emoji with your own face and expression, you may do it with the help of free Android applications. To do so, Android users can go to the Play Store and look for Emoji Maker. There will be a lot of applications here. You should install any app based on the higher rating and review.
- Now, on the app, click on the picture of your face with various expressions. Then, using the software, turn them into cartoon-like emojis. On the phone, save them in image format.
- Now you must download and install two apps for WhatsApp: Background Eraser and Personal Stickers. These apps are available for free on the Google Play Store for Android users.
- You can erase the background of a photo with the Background Eraser software. There’s also an option to delete the photo in the software, in addition to editing it. With the help of auto, manual, magic, and repair tools, you may simply delete the background of a photo. Save the photo in PNG format after deleting it.
- If you are unable to remove the photo’s background using the app, you can do so on your computer using Photoshop or other tools. This activity may also be done via the website www.remove.bg. PNG is the best format for saving the altered photo.
- You may store several pictures of a photo or a name this way. These images will be used as emojis.
- Open the WhatsApp Personal Stickers app now. All of the phone’s PNG files will be shown here. Your images will be shown here as well. All you have to do now is press the ADD button in front of these images. After then, a little window will appear in front of you, ADD it once again. As a result, the emoji you designed will appear as a sticker on WhatsApp.
The process for sending emojis
- Open WhatsApp and choose the recipient you’d like to send the emoji to.
- Next, click the smiling icon next to the text area.
- Here the GIF and sticker logo will be seen with a smiley at the bottom.
- Select the emoji you created from the list above by tapping on the sticker’s logo.
- Press the tab key to send the emoji.
