In a move, when some experienced ministers are leaving the Congress party, student leader Kanhaiya Kumar and Gujarat leader Jignesh Mevani are set to join Congress today. The welcoming posters of the young leaders were also put up outside the Congress office in Delhi today.

In the posters, there was a photo of Kanhaiya Kumar along with Rahul Gandhi and a welcoming text for him was written in Hindi that translated that Indian National Congress welcomes Kanhaiya Kumar and congratulates him for joining the party.

Earlier, before the 2019 election, Kanhaiya Kumar joined the CPI or Communist Party of India, and at that time, he contested from Begusarai in Bihar against BJP’s Giriraj Singh. However, he failed to win the elections.

On the other hand, the joining of Jigesh Mevani in Congress is crucial for INC. Mevani is a legislator from the Vadgam constituency in Gujarat, and he is likely to be the face of elections in the state next year.

Jignesh Mevani is a lawyer and a former journalist, and he is joining the Congress party at a time when the party is prioritising the needs of the scheduled castes, scheduled tribe and minorities. Recently, the Congress party appointed Charanjit Singh Channi as the first Dalit CM of Punjab.

The unique design of Sudarshan Setu has a pathway flanked on both sides by pictures of Lord Krishna and verses from the Bhagavad Gita.On the higher sections of the footpath, solar panels have also been installed, producing one megawatt of electricity.

Before the bridge was built, pilgrims had to take boats to get to Beyt Dwarka.

The bridge was formerly known as Signature Bridge, but it is now called Sudarshan Setu, or Sudarshan Bridge. The popular Dwarkadhish temple of Lord Krishna is located in Dwarka town, approximately 30 kilometers away from the island of Beyt Dwarka, which is close to Okha harbor.
