Former India skipper Virat Kohli, who has been going through a rough patch with the bat for the past few months, seemed to be in a cheerful mood and also showed some hilarious dance moves on the ground during practice session ahead of the series decider at Old Trafford against England.

The 33-year-old India cricketer’s moves have captured on camera as he prepared for an intense nets session.

A video of Virat Kohli is doing rounds on social media in which he can be seen dancing during a practice session as he danced and made hilarious gestures at the camera moments before the start of the 3rd ODI against England.

Kohli appeared quite relaxed during the practice session which give some relaxation to his fans who are waiting for his 71 century. Everyone is hopeful that the star batter will gain momentum by playing a big inning in the third ODI.

However, Kohli’s energy is one of his amazing qualities irrespective of whether he is in form or not. He is arguably the best batter in the world, but lately, he has faced immense flak for his lack of form. This video should certainly comfort the fans who want to see him happy and get the runs.

Will Virat Kohli score his 71st hundred at Old Trafford?

It’s no longer a secret that Virat Kohli hasn’t scored a century in the past 1.5 years. He had scored a century in November 2019 against Bangladesh. Since then he has been struggling with the bat.

Kohli remains one of the best ODI batters and this could really be the format that brings him back into form. However, today’s series decider against England will be his last international innings after which he gets a long break of about a month. He has been rested for the entire West Indies tour.

Old Trafford could well be the ground where the star batter breaks the century jinx and helps his team get the crucial win.

They always play victim card: Here’s what Ravichandran Ashwin said on Deepti Sharma’s run out at Lords

After winning the Lord’s ODI, team India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur had backed her player Deepti, saying whatever happened was within the rules and she showed great game awareness.

Deepti Sharma’s run out of Charlie Dean in the third India women-England women ODI at Lord’s on September 24 is still being discussed by the fans and pundits, who are still debating whether this dismissal is in ‘spirit of cricket’.

Ashwin, who had also run-out Jos Buttler during the 2019 Indian Premier League in the same fashion, spoke in detail on the subject on his YouTube channel on Sunday.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Ashwin tore through Deepti Sharma’s critics and called them out for controlling the narratives and playing the victim card. He sees this particular mode of dismissal as bowlers’ revolution, he said.

Ashwin said initially, most of the world saw Sharma’s actions as a crime but the opinion is changing now, there’s still a section of people who are resisting. In the beginning, the whole world saw it that way. But now, most of them have started realising that the bowlers didn’t commit any crime there, he said.

The team India spinner also said many of them have started asking why you are asking questions to the innocent instead of asking the person who should be guilty. Only a certain section of the people seems to have a problem with this, he said.

Deepti Sharma’s controversial run-out reignited the debate on the undefined spirit of cricket and the morality of running out a non-striker before bowling the ball, despite the latter being a clearly-defined law in the International Cricket Council’s books.

After winning the Lord’s ODI, team India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur had backed her player Deepti, saying whatever happened was within the rules and she showed great game awareness.
