After losing the decider match by 7 wickets at Edgbaston, England had drawn the series by 2-2 and both Ben Stokes and Jasprit Bumrah had lifted the Pataudi Trophy. But seems like this time India is going to have it all.

Men in blue defeated England in the first T20 match by 51 runs and last time Rohit Sharma and his army raided the Edgbaston fortress of England and defeated them at their home ground by 49 runs.

After battling from covid-19 Rohit Sharma is back in action and the skipper not only played some smashing shots but with the bowling rotations and field placements, Rohit made sure to tick all the right boxes.

However, Indian team management will be in stress as the pressure is on them for keeping out-of-form Virat Kohli in the team, where players like Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson are there to not only replace him but also serve the team with good performance.

In the absence of senior players, Deepak Hooda and Ishan Kishan had played the first match against England. And coming to bat at 3rd spot, Deepak was bang on, He didn’t only accelerate the score board but also gave stability to Indian innings. Hence, it will be interesting to see whether coach Rahul Dravid and skipper Rohit Sharma will replace Kohli or will they keep him in playing XI after being in a comfortable position from the series point of view.

India has taken a winning lead of 2-0 in three-match T20 series against England. The host will play for the self respect in the last game today at Trent Bridge. The match will begin at 7:00 pm and the toss will be held at 6:30 pm.
