IND vs NZ: Can Team India save the T20 series? Check venue, time, Live streaming details for 2nd T20I here
India vs New Zealand 2nd T20 match’s digital broadcast will be available on Disney+ Hotstar app and website.
After losing the first T20, the Indian cricket team is trailing by 0-1 in the three-match T20 series against New Zealand. The decisive second T20 of the series will be played today in Lucknow. For Hardik Pandya, a lot of brainstorming will also have to be done to choose the playing 11 in this match.
Even after getting constant support, Shubman Gill has not been able to do any feat in T20 so far. While Arshdeep Singh has performed poorly since the T20 World Cup. In such a situation, some big steps can be taken by the captain and head coach Rahul Dravid in the second match.
Shubman Gill or Prithvi Shaw?
Hardik Pandya has made it clear that Shubman Gill is his priority right now before Shaw and the Mumbaikar will have to wait. But till when? India faced a similar problem with KL Rahul, whose decent strike rate in T20s put India’s T20 squad in danger. With his exclusion from the T20 squad, Team India is still facing a similar problem in the absence of KL Rahul.
The second dilemma is about Arshdeep Singh. Even though he is India’s best performing T20 bowler, he is also the worst performing bowler. Since the T20 World Cup 2022, he has given runs at an economy rate of 11.10. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether Mukesh will get a chance to debut in his place after Arshdeep’s poor performance in the the first T20 match.
IND vs NZ 2nd T20I Venue and Time
The second match of the T20 series between India vs New Zealand will be played on 29 January. In this match, both the teams will clash at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. At the same time, in the previous match, India had to face defeat against New Zealand. In such a situation, India will not make this mistake again.

Famous hairstylist Aalim Hakim posted pictures of Virat Kohli’s new style on social media. Sharing the pictures he wrote, the one and only KIng Kohli. In the pictures, Kohli is spotted with a sleek split in his eyebrows and a faded haircut.
As soon as the pictures were shared on social media, they quickly went viral, as fans couldn’t stop themselves from lauding their favourite cricketer for his new makeover. Meanwhile, for the first time since January, the legendary Indian batter will be back in action for the IPL’s upcoming season. Early this year, Kohli pulled out of India’s Test series against England since his second child, Akaay, was born in February.
Following the women’s team’s historic win in the WPL 2024 title match on Sunday, March 17, RCB supporters are now even more eager for the men’s team to follow in the footsteps of their female counterparts.
In addition, Kohli will make his official comeback to the T20 format of the game during the IPL 2024 season. This follows a two-year break following the T20 World Cup in 2022, during which he made just two appearances for India in their series against Afghanistan in January. Particularly for Kohli, this season will be crucial because there are a lot of speculations about whether or not he will be included in the Indian team for the June 2024 T20 World Cup.

The medical team of the BCCI has advised Rahul not to keep wickets in the initial stages of the tournament, and play as a specialist batsman. Sources in BCCI said KL Rahul is fit and can join the IPL franchise in the coming 2 days. He suffered pain in the quadriceps and got an injection too.
He went through his rehabilitation and the National Cricket Academy has declared him fit. But he has been advised not to take up the role of wicket-keeping immediately. Rahul complained of pain in the quadriceps after the Hyderabad Test match and was later ruled out from the rest of the series against England which got over recently.
The BCCI had initially claimed that KL Rahul has reached 90% match fitness and he is making steady progress under the supervision of the BCCI medical team. Later it was decided that they should consult a specialist in England. As a result Rahul went abroad to England for an expert opinion.
Shreyas Iyer who had missed out the last 2 days of Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy finals due to back issues had also been declared fit to play the IPL but on a condition. The Kolkata Knight Riders captain has been advised that he cannot lunge too much while playing the forward defense as this may worsen his injury.
According to reports Shreyas Iyer visited a spine specialist in Mumbai after getting consultation from the National Cricket Academy (Bangalore). The doctor has advised him fit to play but he should take precaution and needs to be cautious while stretching his leg.

IPL 2024: Hardik Pandya opens up on his relationship with Rohit Sharma over Mumbai Indians’captaincy change row
Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya today addressed the controversy surrounding the captaincy change that erupted inside the team when Rohit Sharma was dropped as the leader of the team to make room for the Gujarat Titans’ returning all-rounder.
After deciding to join Guajrat two year sago, Hardik was signed as a trade. During a Monday press conference hosted by the Mumbai Indians, Hardik said that he doesn’t anticipate any unpleasant situations involving Rohit.
Hardik said on his comeback that it’s a surreal feeling to be back. Since 2015, everything he had known has come from this experience. He further said, he never thought he would get here. He is looking forward to playing at the Wankhede, at his favorite venue.
Regarding the shift in captaincy, the all-round player said that he expects Rohit’s hand on his shoulder whenever he needs it.
The former Gujarat Titans captain said, the fact that Rohit Sharma is the captain of Team India benefits him, he just carrys on what Sharma accomplished with this team. Hardik said he knows he will always have Sharma’s hand on his shoulder because he has played under him in his entire career.
Hardik said that he only likes to think on the things he can control, despite the fact that the fans’ feelings over the captaincy change conflict have occasionally been unpleasant.
He continued saying, he is going to bowl. Although he respects the feelings of fans, but there are things he cannot control. He said, he appreciate them, but he’ll concentrate on his duties as captain.
In response to a question about whether he and Rohit had spoken since the captaincy switch, Hardik said that the Hitman’s continues travels had prevented them from having a meaningful conversation.
Due to his trip, he has’t had much time to speak with Rohit. When he connects with the squad, he will undoubtedly catch up, he said.
Meanwhile, under Rohit Sharma’s captainship Mumbai Indians won the IPL trophy for 5 times.
