After India’s defeat in Indore, the fans started thinking apart from KL Rahul. Now KS Bharat is on the target of the fans. According to them, Bharat has failed to take advantage of the opportunity given to him. In the five innings of the current series, Bharat has scored just 57 runs at an average of 14. In the absence of Rishabh Pant, he had to cement his position in the team but he disappointed with his performance.
The fans even wrote that Ishaan Kishan or Sanju Samson should be given a chance instead of Bharat. Significantly, after Rishabh Pant’s accident and Wriddhiman Saha’s exit, Team India needs two new wicketkeeper options. After Saha’s departure, C Bharat was a part of the team and also made his debut in Test cricket for the first time.
At the same time, Ishaan Kishan has been included in the Test squad. In such a situation, Bharat had a golden opportunity to show something in these five innings, but Bharat failed to do so.
