The former seclector said, he believes we can put a stop to speculations of all types. Shubman Gill (against Pakistan) will definitely play in this match. He is simply too skilled to be left out. It was only a fever. He is now well. The idea that we may consider replacements was in no way menacing. Whatever form you are hearing, it’s all misinformation that are spreading (about the severity of the sickness), according to MSK Prasad.

According to Prasad, Gill was fine and wasn’t included in the playing XI against Afghanistan as a precaution. Additionally, he mentioned that a player is perfectly fit to play if he bats for an hour.

We were informed that he was okay but couldn’t play the second game out of precaution, said former India selector. As a precaution, he remained in Chennai for an additional day.

After making a full recovery, he was released. Check to see if someone is playing for one ball, which indicates he is healed. This matchup with Pakistan is crucial. He ought to be in India’s playing XI if he is healthy, which I’m confident he is, he continued.

Gill has an incredible record at the Narendra Modi Stadium. In T20Is and Tests combined, he averages 93 and has two hundreds to his credit. Prasad believes that the Gujarat Titans player ought to play there tomorrow since he is aware of it.
