Team India has given Sri Lanka a target of 374 runs in the first match of the ODI series with the help of a century by Virat Kohli, 113 runs off 87 balls. India scored 373 runs for 7 wickets in 50 overs.

The first match of the ODI series between India and Sri Lanka is being played at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. Both the teams would like to start the three-match ODI series by winning this match. Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Virat Kohli scored his 45th ODI century for Team India. Kohli has scored a century at home after four years. Apart from Kohli, captain Rohit Sharma scored 80 and Shubman Gill scored 70 runs. KL Rahul contributed 39 and Shreyas Iyer contributed 28 runs.

Kasun Rajitha took three wickets. Dhananjaya de Silva, Dasun Shanaka, Dilshan Madushanka and Chamika Karunaratne got one wicket each.

Virat Kohli’s brilliant century

Virat Kohli, who came to bat in the 20th over, batted brilliantly in this match and scored 113 runs in 87 balls. He hit 12 fours and a six in his fabulous innings. Ishaan Kishan and SKY do not get a chance

Ishaan Kishan, who scored a double century in ODI cricket on Bangladesh tour, is not playing in this match. Rohit said that keeping Ishaan out is a tough decision, but he wants to give more chances to Gill for now.
