World Cup 2023: Pakistan captain Babar Azam feels happy with India’s reception, says overwhelmed by love
On October 5, the ODI championship is set to begin, and Pakistan will play their first match the following day.

The cricket team from Pakistan arrived in India on Wednesday under heavy security as it gets ready to compete in the next, seven-week World Cup.
Pakistan is travelling to India for the first time since 2016, and as the team’s captain Babar Azam and other players arrived at the airport in Hyderabad, hundreds of enthusiastic fans cheered and chanted their names while being held back by security officers. On October 5, the ODI championship is set to begin, and Pakistan will play their first match the following day.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam said, he was overwhelmed by the affection and support his team has received in India. Babar expressed his happiness by posting a photo to his Instagram account.

Babar, who was born in Lahore, said the following on his social media accounts, overwhelmed with the love and support here in Hyderabad.
Shaheen Shah Afridi praised the Indians earlier in the day for their friendly treatment of the Pakistani cricketers.
Before flying to India, Babar recently addressed a news conference. The Pakistani captain stated during the press conference that his team’s goal in India is to win the championship rather than just place in the top two.
India recently replaced Pakistan as the top-ranked nation after India defeated Australia 2-1 in the bilateral ODI series. However, after defeating the Netherlands in their opening league game at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, they have a chance to regain the top spot.
Babar and company will also play a few practise games before that. After losing to India and Sri Lanka in the Super Fours, they recently were unable to advance to the Asia Cup final. After Naseem Shah was disqualified from the competition, Pakistan also suffered a significant setback.
Hasan Ali, who has only appeared in seven ODIs since the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales, was brought in to fill in for him.

Cricketer Manoj Tiwary wished the former Indian cricketer and wrote Happy Birthday to someone who is an in born fighter, a champion cricketer, a supremely good human being and a gem of a friend.
Punjab Kings took to X and wished the left handed batsman a very Happy Birthday. They wrote the eyes, they never lie.
In another post Punjab Kings tweeted Aaj de dintan party karni chahidi hai veer ji. Lets come together and wish sadda kaptaan Shikhar Dhawan a very Happy Birthday and a smashing year ahead.
One social media user Prathmesh said Shikhar Dhawan never played selfish cricket. He never cared about personal milestones and was the best friend of Rohit Sharma. Prathmesh wished him a very happy birthday.
One fan Rushi wrote Rohit Sharma had said Shikhar Dhawan is his favourite batting partner. Rushi wrote all the cricket fans deserved to see Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan playing together at least once. He wished Shikhar Dhawan a very Happy Birthday.

Former Indian Cricketer Ajay Jadeja says problem of Indian cricket is we don’t select players but reject them
Jadeja asked how many players have scored a double century on a good day? He said Ishan Kishan can turn the game around on his day. Jadeja asked when will Kishan get ready? He asked will he be kept on trial all the time? He further questioned how many games Kishan had played in the last two years?

Former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja was furious over the non selection of Kishan in the T20I series. Star batsman Kishan did not get a chance in Team India’s World Cup campaign. Jadeja said there was a series right after the World Cup. He said Ishan Kishan played three matches and was sent home. He said he Kishan did not play a lot of games in the World Cup.

He played a brilliant knock of 52 off 32 balls in the second T20I at Thiruvanthpuram. Jadeja said Ishan Kishan did not play the entire five match T20I series against Australia. He was sent home after three matches to rest. Jadeja asked if this is going to continue, how will the selectors ensure that Kishan is full ready?

National Cricket Academy (NCA) chief and batting icon VVS Laxman coached a second string Indian side for the entire five-match T20I series against Australia. Under the leadership of SuryaKumar Yadav, a second string Of Indian team defeated Australia 4-1 in the bilateral series. IPL chairman Arun Dhumal sees remarkable growth trajectory for IPL’s media rights. He projected an increase to an impressive $50 million by 2043. This optimistic outlook is contingent on the league’s commitment to continous innovation and responsiveness to fans interests.
In the present scenario the IPL demands a substantial media rights value which has reached $6.2 billion for a five year period starting in 2022. Even with this valuation IPL holds the distinction of the second most valued league globally moving behind the National Football league (NFL).
Recently the NFL recently secured a monumental $110 billion media deal spanning over a period of 11 years, underscoring the immense financial prowess of the American sporting entity. Dhumal was speaking at the RCB Innovation Lab’s leaders Meet India in Bengaluru.
Former BCCI treasurer Dhumal expressed optimisim about a potential windfall for the league. He made these predictions on the basis of two key developments: The introduction of women’s premier league (WPL) and the inclusion of cricket in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. These developments will have a major impact on the league’s financial growth and overall global prominence.
Dhumal said they needed to keep on innovating and keep doing better in terms of fan engagement and increase the quality of the games.The media rights value of the Indian Premier League has grown exponentially in the last the decade and half from Rs 6000 crore in 2008 and went past several other major sporting leagues all over the world.
Dhumal said IPL is the most watched cricket league in the world. He said it is the biggest Make in India Brand one could think of post independence. He said India was truly a very diverse nation but IPL was the only brand that united the whole country and showcased it at the international stage.
