Yashasvi Jaiswal reached another landmark as he crossed 150 runs in the second Test match against England and taking India’s total to 272/4 in 77 overs. Jaiswal made amends for his dismissal in the 80s in the previous Test match and scored a brilliant century in the second Test match against England.

Jaiswal displayed a solid batting effort against the English spinners and fended off a tough challenge from veteran pacer James Anderson. He scored his maiden Test century in 151 balls. His first century had come in his debut Test last year in July, where scored 171 against the West Indies.

India made a cautious start after expectedly opting to bat. The two opening batsmen Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma, both of whom were guilty of throwing their wickets away in the first Test match in Hyderabad. The two batsmen together built a partnership of 40 runs in the first 16 overs. After Rohit Sharma was dismissed by debutant spinner Shoaib Bashir for only 14 runs, Yashasvi Jaiswal gradually accelerated his run scoring.

Jaiswal repeatedly used the cut shot for scoring the boundaries and guided India’s innings with patience and precision. At the final stage of the morning session he reached his half century. In the afternoon session Jaiswal’s focus was unwavering as he seamlessly accelerated his innings.

He had some gaps in communication with Shreyas Iyer while running between the wickets. But Jaiswal continued to focus on his batting. After the 42ndover Jaiswal started playing attacking cricket by stepping down the track to Joe Root and dispatching the ball over the boundary for a six.

Jaiswal’s stroke selection reached new heights as he hit three boundaries consecutively off Tom Hartley as he moved into his 80s. As he moved near his century he rotated the strike at will and reached his century in the 49th over of the innings.

Team India star player Virat Kohli, is the recent celebrity to be duped by artificial intelligence and deepfake technology. A video of him advertising an illegal betting app went viral on social media.

In order to produce a deepfake advertisement, Kohli’s AI-generated voice has been combined with morphed footage from some of his previous videos.

Recently, a video of Kohli saying he earned a large returns on a low-key investment through a betting app went viral on social media. The advertisement also features footage of a popular news anchor Anjana Om Kashyap, to make it more authentic. The advertisement portrays Kohli as a guest on a live news show, explaining to viewers how they can also earn profit from the betting app.

Fans on social media have been made aware of the deceptive deepfake video, and many have flagged it to make sure others don’t fall for it. In the advertisement, Kohli is shown profiting Rs 81,000 on a little Rs 1,000 investment.

This is not the first time when any celebrity has become the victim of deepfake video. Earlier, Sachin Tendulkar’s video also went viral, in which he was seen endorsing a gaming app. It was a digitally edited movie with the former batter’s voice, pretending to be him.

The goal of that deepfake was to create the impression that Tendulkar and his daughter Sara had won a huge amount of money by taking part in a particular online game.

Sachin himself acknowledged the video as fraudulent and issued a warning on social media regarding these kinds of unethical behavior.

Meanwhile, Kohli is not playing in India’s current home Test series against England, therefore he is not available for the Indian team at this time. However, it was anticipated that the star batter would play in the next three Test matches after initially withdrawing from the first two due to personal issues. Kohli, who is still with his family, later withdrew from the entire five-match series, citing personal reason.
