Delhi Police denies permission to BJP march at Jantar Mantar against Udaipur killing

In order to maintain law and order in the city, Delhi police on Wednesday denied permission to protest against the killing of Kanhaiya Lal Rajasthan’s Udaipur at Jantar Mantar. The protest has been planned by the BJP leader Kapil Mishra, he has asked the people to join him in today’s protest at 5 pm.

While denying the permission for the mass protest, Deputy Commissioner of Police Delhi issued an official letter to the organiser Sharma, asking him to cancel his protest, which was scheduled for today. He also latter from the police on his official Twitter handle which reads any type of Dharna/demonstration at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar cannot be permitted in view of the current communal situation in the city. The latter also stated that section 144 CrPC is in force in the entire area of the New Delhi district.

The Delhi police have increased the security arrangements in sensitive areas. Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) in all the 15 districts have been asked to remain on high alert. They have been told to keep a special eye on the areas where slight chances of riots. They have been also asked to meet Aman committees in respective areas to maintain peace and law and order.

The Special Commissioner of Police from the northern and southern zones on Tuesday evening asked all the DCPs to track and monitor all the PCR with full focus and take action immediately if they find any who is trying to disturb the peace in the city. Police have been ordered to increase patrolling in their respective areas.

Meanwhile, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday asked the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to take over the case. Reports said that the murder case of Kanhaiya Lala has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the UA(P)A.

A day after the Supreme Court-appointed technical expert committees’ approval for the demolition of the bankrupt builder Supertech’s twin towers with explosives, the top court on Friday extended the demolition deadline to August 28.

Before accepting Noida Authority’s extension request, the nearly 100-metre tall illegal structures were scheduled for demolition at 2.30 pm on August 21.

The Supreme Court has given the go-ahead to the Noida Authority to raze the two towers by September 4. The demolition process will be started on August 28.

The Central Building Research Institute (CBRI’s) nod was the last approval needed for setting up the explosives inside the structure of the Supertech building located in Sector 93B in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida.

A 7-day buffer – from August 29 to September 4 – was also given in case of any technical glitches.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday slammed Union Minister Giriraj Singh for sharing an edited video clip from one of his interviews in which Yadav can be seen promising 2 crore jobs in Bihar.

Bihar Deputy CM had promised 2 crore jobs as a chief ministerial candidate during the 2020 Assembly elections.

The Union Minister shared an edited version of one of his TV interviews with Zee News. Replying on fulfilling the promise of 1 million jobs, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader said that the promise was made as a chief ministerial candidate but, in the current formation, he is the deputy chief minister.

Sharing a video of his full reply, the RJD leader said don’t be so shameless. The plight of the BJP is because of the idiotic acts of such people who share edited videos, he tweeted.

Having a one-foot-long braid does not make one knowledgeable, he tweeted.

Asking Singh to listen full video of the interview, Yadav said these poor guys have no face in Bihar.

In the complete video, he can be heard saying that chief minister Nitish Kumar has discussed the matter with him and he is serious about job creation. Once the vote of trust is over and the government is formed, it will happen, definitely happen, he told the Zee News.

Nitish Kumar has directed the officials to provide as many jobs as possible, Yadav said.

The RJD made education, health care, irrigation, and employment the main focus areas during the 2020 elections and is committed to upgrading Bihar’s education and health system. His party also committed upgrade the farm sector for better productivity to create avenues for jobs, Yadav had said.

Viral: Instagram influencer smoking inside aircraft video goes viral, Minister J Scindia reacts | WATCH

A viral video has been doing rounds on the Internet since Wednesday, where a social media influencer in order to get some likes and followers puts everyone’s life in danger in SpiceJet aircraft by liting a cigarette inside the plane. After getting reported by several internet users, his viral video has been taken down immediately by the social media platform.

A journalist from NDTV retweeted the viral video from his official Twitter handle, tagging the Union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, asking him to take strict action against the offender. To which the minister said that investigation has been initiated. There will be no tolerance for such hazardous behavior, Scindia added in his Twitter reply.

In the short viral clip, Bobby Kataria can be seen occupying the last seats of the plane, laying down and smoking a cigarette inside the aircraft.

When the video came in limelight and questions were raised regarding the same, a SpiceJet spokesperson said their crew did not aware of the incident that took place on the flight. They came to know about the matter when the video has been shared on social media on January 24, 2022.

Defending his act, Kataria slammed the media by sharing some screenshots of the news on his Instagram account, under which he wrote that the Media only wants publicity. He further added in his post saying that the media speaks anything in order to engage the politicians.

This is not the first time Kataria has shared such an objectionable video on his social media handle. Earlier, dropped a video of himself consuming alcohol on the busy Dehradun road. Then also an investigation has been initiated by Uttarakhand’s director general of police Ashok Kumar.

If you sneak Kataria’s Instagram account, it is flooded with videos and photos where he can be seen smoking and consuming alcohol no matter if he is driving, walking on the road, or surrounded by the public.
