Noida twin tower: Internet users share funny memes after demolition of tallest building

Finally, the Noida authority has demolished the Supertech twin tower, which has been facing a legal battle for the last 9 years. The residential building which took years to build, authority razed it to dust in 9 seconds at 2.30 pm today.
Soon after the demolition of the tallest building, funny memes and jokes started flooding social media platforms. Some internet users felt bad seeing the building become a big ball of dust, while some people felt happy seeing the corrupt work getting demolished.

One of the users shared an image of Amir Khan from his movie PK, where was seen in full dust. The user compared the image from the actor with people staying in Noida. He captioned his post where he wrote, Noida people right now.
Another user shared the screen grab of Google maps, where it showed the current status of Supertech Twin Tower temporarily closed. He further wrote that it is interesting seeing how quickly Google maps change its status.
Meanwhile, the almost 100-meter-tall residential structure twin towers — Apex and Ceyane were demolished at 2.30 pm on Sunday. The demolition order was given by the Supreme Court after it had found that the construction of the Emerald Court society premises in violation of norms.
Supertech Ltd Chairman R K Arora on Sunday said that his company has incurred a loss somewhere around Rs 500 to 501 crore.
Arora said that he has spent on land and construction costs. He said every charge has been paid to the various concerned department in order to take the approvals for the project. In interest had been paid to banks over the years including the 12 percent interest to buyers of these two towers among other costs, Arora added in his statement

Suicide bombing near Turkey Parliament building in Ankara, 2 cops injured
Turkey’s main opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu has slammed the attack in Ankara and stated that terrorism is a crime against humanity.

Turkey’s interior minister Ali Yerlikaya on Sunday asserted that two terrorists carried out a bomb attack in front of the ministry buildings in Ankara. He added that one of them died in the explosion and the other was “neutralised” by authorities there.
Earlier, Turkish media reported that an explosion was heard near the parliament and ministerial buildings, and broadcasters showed footage of debris scattered on a street near the Interior Ministry. A footage from Reuters showed soldiers, ambulances, fire trucks and an armoured vehicle gathered near the centre of Turkey’s capital, where the police have blocked multiple key roads.
Taking to social media X, formerly Twitter, Ali Yerlikaya, the interior minister, said that two police officers were slightly injured in the incident at 9:30 a.m. He added that two terrorists came with a light commercial vehicle in front of the entrance gate of the General Directorate of Security of their Ministry of Internal Affairs and carried out a bomb attack.
The interior minister further mentioned that one of the terrorists blew himself up and the other was neutralised, which usually means was killed. He noted that their struggle will continue until the last terrorist is neutralised.
Reports said that Ankara’s chief prosecutor initiated an investigation into what it also called a terrorist attack. Authorities did not identify any specific militant group, as yet.
Meanwhile, Turkey’s main opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu has slammed the attack in Ankara and stated that terrorism is a crime against humanity. The leader of the Republican People’s Party mentioned that no matter from whom and where it came from, they will fight it together as a country and will never give treacherous ambitions a chance.
The concerned authorities in Ankara have cautioned the citizens over suspicious packages and bags that are being detonated in a controlled manner. Ankara Security Directorate asked citizens not to panic.

A day before Gandhi Jayanti, PM Modi participated with fitness influencer Ankit Baiyanpuriya in participated in the Shramdaan for cleanliness campaign as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, PM modi shared a video of him doing the cleanliness work with the influnecer. Sharing the video he wrote, today, when the country focused on Swachhata, Ankit Baiyanpuriya and he did the same! Beyond only hygiene, they included wellness and fitness in the mix as well. It is all about that Swachh and Swasth Bharat vibe.
PM Modi can be heard asking Ankit in the video that how the Swachhata mission will benefit his physical health. Ankit responds, it’s up to us to maintain our environment clean. They’ll stay in shape if it stays clean.
Ankit added that Sonipat’s residents have been emphasising hygiene.
Fitness influencer Ankit Baiyanpuria, a former desi wrestler from Bayanpur, Sonipat, has earned notoriety for his advocacy of conventional and regional training techniques.
Ankit gained fresh notoriety earlier this year when he introduced the strenuous 75-day Hard Challenge to improve his mental toughness and self-control.
Ankit, who was raised by labourer parents, is well known on social media for his flawless training methods and distinctive routines that not only prioritise physical fitness but also encompass mental well-being with books like the Bhagavad Gita.
Ankit had to change his strategy in 2022 after dislocating his shoulder while participating in mud wrestling. He started documenting his fitness progress on Instagram.

Tamil Nadu bus accident: PM Modi announces ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to kin of deceased, Rs 50,000 to injured
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next kin of the deceased.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed grief over the loss of lives due to a bus accident near Coonoor in Nilgiris district, Tamil Nadu. He announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
On Saturday evening, nearly nine people died and several others were injured after a tourist bus carrying 55 passengers fell into a gorge near Tamil Nadu’s Coonoor. The bus was travelling from Ooaty to Mettupalayam when the incident occurred.
Earlier on Saturday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next kin of the deceased. Who died in the bus accident. The Chief Minister also affirmed that Rs 1 lakh would be provided as financial assistance to those seriously injured in the incident. Furthermore, Rs 50,000 would also be given to those who received minimum injuries.
Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi expressed grief at the unfortunate incident. He expressed that he is deeply saddened by the loss of lives in a bus accident near Coonoor, Nilgiris. He voiced that his thoughts are with the bereaved families. He wished speedy recovery of the injured.
Police said that the bus was on its way from Ooty to Mettupalayam in the Coimbatore district of the Southern state when the accident took place. They affirmed that the injured were hurried to the Coonoor government hospital for treatment.
Previously, speaking to ANI on the matter, Nilgiris District collector Aruna stated that the bus was carrying 60 passengers and that the rescue team was deployed in full force. Aruna affirmed that they have rescued all the passengers, eight people have been declared dead. The district collector mentioned that the government has acted in full force.
