Harshaali Malhotra who made her Bollywood debut as Munni with Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan in 2015 recreated Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer Rocky Aur Rani movie’s song What Jhumka and posted it on Instagram. The video has gone viral on social media platforms.

In the video, she was seen synchronising with the song and the performance touched the heart of many people. Several users have pointed out the cuteness that she carried in her debut film cast alongside Salman Khan. She has been best known as Munni from Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The actor has grown up and has a huge fan following.

The song What Jhumka from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaan movie has featured Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, who play the lead roles in the Karan Johar directorial.

Harshaali Malhotra took up the ‘What Jhumka’ trend and posted it on her Instagram handle. Mumbai-born Harshaali Malhotra had her first acting opportunity in the 2015 Kabir Khan-directed drama movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan, starring alongside Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

In the movie, she portrayed Shahida (Munni), a Muslim girl from Pakistan who was lost in India and returned to her country with the assistance of an Indian Brahmin devotee named Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi (played by Salman Khan).

Malhotra was selected among 5,000 girls who auditioned for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The movie premiered on Eid ul Fitr and went on to become one of the top-grossing Bollywood films, with Malhotra receiving critical acclaim for her performance.

RRKPK has earned around Rs 70 crore mark at the domestic box office despite slowing down on weekdays. The total collection of the film is now approximately Rs 67.12 crore.

Karan Johar returned as a director after 7 years with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. In addition, the movie included Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, and Anjali Anand. Varun Dhawan, Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor all had cameo appearances in the film.

His clarification came after his name had been circulating in discussions about possible contestants for Bigg Boss 20.

Bhagirath Bhatt is known for his work as a sitarist and music composer. According to the report, he has worked on films including Padmaavat, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Border 2.

Batwara 1947 has had a disappointing run at the box office, and actor Shabana Azmi has now shared her thoughts on why the film may not have connected with audiences. According to Azmi, one possible reason could be the difficulty some viewers had in accepting Sunny Deol as a Muslim character.

The film, which also features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, was released on August 14. It has reportedly earned around Rs 53 crore so far, while Awarapan 2, which released on the same day, has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark.

Azmi also suggested that there may have been confusion among some viewers about Sunny Deol’s character in Batwara 1947. She said that even some people who had watched the film believed Deol was playing a Pakistani character, whereas, according to her, he plays an Indian Muslim.

Azmi said she was surprised by the contrast between the appreciation she had heard from people who watched the film and its weak theatrical performance.

According to her, viewers who discussed the film with her had praised its message of humanity, but that appreciation did not translate into enough people going to theatres.

She also questioned whether audiences were uncomfortable with the film’s India-Pakistan subject. Azmi maintained that the film’s message was not politically incorrect and praised Sunny Deol’s performance.
