A recently released short film on hijab is earning praises for sharing a message. The video is originally in Tamil and is released by the YouTube page Urban Nakkalites. They wrote that this video revolves around common people who wear a hijab in their daily life and some strangers who were seen opposing hijab. They further wrote that the video deals in a satirical way with the ignorance of the mob in saffron attire.

In the video, it can be seen that there is a group who is stopping a hijab-clad girl from going to school, but a man comes and tells them that due to the heat everyone is wearing a veil or a hijab to cover their head so that they don’t get heatstroke.

After noticing that, those men started stopping people who were wearing a cloth on their head or a veil, and were chanting Jai Shri Ram.

Later, when they started feeling the heat, they themselves covered their head.

The video was released on April 1, and it has so far garnered 56,169 views, at the time of writing this article.

After watching the video, one of the users wrote that this video must be translated into all Indian languages and popularized to spread awareness.

This video has come at a time when the hijab row that is taking place in Karnataka is a hot topic across the nation. Hijab-clad girls are being denied entry to appear for the examination with hijab. Amidst this, a section is also putting up efforts to ban Muslim traders and is propagating hate messages so that no one does business with them.

Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan, who appeared in several Hindi films and was particularly remembered for his role in the 2007 comedy Welcome, has died at the age of 56.

Khan was known for playing supporting characters across Hindi cinema and had worked in films spanning several decades. His role as Balu in Welcome remains among his best-known performances.

Mushtaq Khan’s film career

Mushtaq Khan appeared in a wide range of films during his career. His filmography included Aashiqui, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Gopi Kishan, Krantiveer, Raja, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jodi No. 1 and Hera Pheri.

He also featured in more recent films including Stree 2, Gadar 2, Baby John, Dhoom Dhaam and Jaat. His filmography lists acting work continuing into 2026.
