Arjun Kapoor is often trolled for his poor acting skills but every time he comes out strong and proves his meticulous acting prowess. However, this time the trollers have taken it to next level.

Ahead of the release of Arjun Kapoor’s upcoming film Kuttey, the trollers took to the film’s Wikipedia page and wrote ‘someone with no acting skills’ next to his name. However, it has now been deleted, but a screenshot of the same is going viral on social media.

One of the users took to Twitter to mock 2 States actor and wrote How do you manage to survive in this industry without acting talent. What’s your secret? Another user compared Arjun Kapoor with a dog shit and wrote that he can never improve as an actor.

Another user took a dig at his father-producer Boney Kapoor, saying that while he has issues with Akshay Kumar for making more movies and creating more employment, he is fine with Arjun Kapoor giving us dumb, silly movies every two years.

Yet another commented, Kuttey will be another Arjun Kapoor flop. This dude starting a new year with a flop. Bollywood will never learn, he added. He further asked why nepotism kids get movies even when they can’t act.

Meanwhile, Kuttey is touted to be a caper that also has outstanding actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Konkona Sen Sharma, Tabu, Kumud Mishra and Radhika Madan in it.

Kuttey is bankrolled by Luv Ranjan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ankur Garg, and Rekha Bhardwaj under the banner of Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. The film’s music is composed by Vishal Bhardwaj and penned by Gulzar.

Bad Newz social media review: Vicky Kaushal’s charisma lifts predictable rom-com; Triptii Dimri falls short

The chemistry between Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri is not anything remarkable; also, the film fades while trying to align its relationship dynamics with its plot mechanics.

“Bad Newz” is not a washout completely, but neither does it come any closer to being the riot one as expects it to be. Directed by Anand Tiwari and written by Ishita Moitra and Tarun Dudeja, the film indeed comes up with a comic premise about two dads and a mom expecting twins due to some sort of unique fertility situation called hetero-paternal superfecundation.

But the execution really lacks that required spark to entertain. With a few sparkling moments, the interminable length and complete lack of surprises drain the freshness out of the fun. The chemistry between Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri is not anything remarkable; also, the film fades while trying to align its relationship dynamics with its plot mechanics.

The central plot twist, relating to a paternity test and a gynecologist’s prognosis, is interesting but becomes very predictable soon after it is revealed. Interesting is the concept of hetero-paternal superfecundation, clearly taken from the 2016 TV movie “Double Mommy,” but certainly not one on which to hang a film.

Done for a quirky narrative twist, it feels basically like a disorganized mix of comic elements, much like food references throughout. Vicky Kaushal does charm through his performance, but he, too, cannot rise above the flaws of this film. The female lead, Triptii Dimri, fails to emote the intensity behind her character’s emotions, which affects the impact of this film.

The film’s final act is overlong, and it does drag along, shifting from being a comedy to something serious, without much resolution, and then concludes in a series of emotional and moral revelations that seem quite forced and dragged out. What seemed like an interesting setup in “Bad Newz” turns out to be a light snack rather than a satisfactory feast, lacking real humour and substance for it to be truly memorable.
