The dire circumstances in Israel and Palestine are known to the world. There are also a tonne of devastating views of the fighting on social media. Actor Kalki Koechlin chose not to use the microblogging website X (formerly known as Twitter) because she was sick of all the depressing images.

Actor Kalki Koechlin said on Instagram a few hours ago that she has removed the social media app X. The actor shared a screenshot on her phone and said she was tired of hearing about the conflict between Israel and Palestine, so she made this decision.

Sharing the screenshot Kalki wrote, had to do this today. The hatred and false information, the depressing news, and the helplessness, the actor added.

Kalki futher continued, however, the denial or justification of the thousands of Palestinian children who are slain, or the denial or glorifying of the rape, torture, and murder of Israeli women, is what truly went too far for her, and it is what ultimately led her to draw a boundary. She also said, she have had enough.

Many people applauded the Dev D actor’s move when she shared the post. Actor Sayani Gupta was one among them, referring to it as the best cleanse. Oh man, she said. Indeed. Furthermore, She thinks she stopped using Twitter about two years ago. The best cleaning ever.

Celebrities like Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan felt the need to pray for peace due to the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict’s brutal killings of innocent people and destruction of law and order. Actor Gauahar Khan, who played Begum Jaan, tweeted earlier that killings are wrong, All killings are wrong. Let peace reign on Earth. Let it end at the first possible moment. In war, there is no right or wrong—it is always wrong.  So, all countries must adhere to human rights, all lives matter, all lives matter. Every life matters. Can’t say it more clearly. Every war has to end. Let life be lived.

Other public figures with ties to the industry include Mark Ruffalo, Amy Schumer, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, and Angelina Jolie also cam in support and asked people to stop spreading hatred.

The teaser of Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayana has been released, offering the first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama. The film, which is planned as a two-part cinematic project, is scheduled for a Diwali release later this year.

The teaser shows several key moments, including scenes from the coronation and the exile period in the forest of Panchavati. Ranbir Kapoor appears in the role of Rama with a calm and composed presence. The teaser also briefly shows Yash in the role of Ravan towards the end.

Ahead of the teaser launch, Alia Bhatt shared a video message on social media asking audiences to support the project and Ranbir Kapoor’s work on the film. In the video, she said the “Rama unit” video would be released and encouraged audiences to watch and support the film.
