A video showing a group of migrant workers, reportedly from north India, being abused and assaulted by allegedly a local man onboard a moving train in Tamil Nadu has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage from users.
A video showing a group of migrant workers, reportedly from north India, being abused and assaulted by allegedly a local man onboard a moving train in Tamil Nadu has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage from users.
In the video, which was been widely shared and viewed on social media platforms since it was first posted, a man is seen hurling abuses and physically assaulting some migrant labourers inside an overcrowded compartment of a moving train.
The man is heard asking one of the workers if he was “Tamil or Hindi” and then assaults the labourer and his co-workers despite other passengers urging him to stop.
Local reports said that the victims belonged to north India and the assailant was accusing the workers of stealing away jobs from Tamilians.

An official said the Tamil Nadu railway police said has taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case in this regard, adding that a lookout notice has been issued for the accused who is currently absconding.
In an official statement, the police said: “Government Railway Police Tamil Nadu has registered an FIR against the accused persons under relevant provisions of law. Perpetrators of the crime will be brought to book.”
They said that further investigations into the matter are ongoing.
In a similar incident, a construction labourer from West Bengal, died of fatal injuries on February 15, after he was viciously beaten by a group of locals on Sunday night who mistook him for a thief in Thazhambur.
The deceased, identified as Kshetra Mohan Burman, succumbed to injuries at the Chengalpattu government hospital.
As per reports, Mohan had come to the state to work in a construction project by the Casa Grand group in Kelambakkam, near Chennai.
Police said that six accused identified as—Vignesh, Raja, Bala Murugan, Anand, Ganesh and Ramesh—have been arrested in this connection.

Ranveer Singh’s AI video endorsing a political party went viral on the internet. This comes after Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Kajol, Rashmika Mandanna, Nora Fatehi, and numerous other celebrities fell victim to the deepfake trend.
The Bajirao Mastani actor finally reacted to the video today, and addressed his deepfake video incident. On his Instagram story, he posted a text message warning others not to click on it.
The Band Baja Barat actor, who recently fell victim to Deepfake AI, responded to his video endorsing a political party on his Instagram account a while back. He used capital letters to write, “Deepfake se bacho dostonnnn”, which translates in English as beware of Deepfake videos friends, and added a skull emoji on his Instagram Story.
The actor’s original video which was utilized for AI, was taken on a recent trip to Varanasi, where he talked about his experiences . Recently, he turned the heads alongside Kriti Sanon at designer Manish Malhotra’s fashion show at Namo Ghat in Varanasi. Fans of the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani star became furious after they saw an AI-generated video in which he endorsed a political party ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking more about AI’s victims, Aamir Khan was also a victim of the technology. According to the actor’s official statement obtained through his representative, PK actor has never supported a political party, in his 35-year of career. He has devoted his efforts to raising public awareness through Election Commission public awareness campaigns for many past elections, the statement continued.
Aamir Khan is heard saying in the 31-second clip that every Indian citizen is a Lakhpati. Vote For Nyay, Vote For Congress is written between of an image of the Congress party symbol in the video’s last frame. The background audio plays something similar.
Meanwhile, on workfrom Ranveer Singh is preparing for his upcoming film, Singham Again alongside Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn.

A food vlogger shared a video clip on Instagram showing the meticulous preparation of blue-coloured ghee rice which has a classic twist from the traditional recipe. It is a new culinary trend that has drawn mixed reactions from social media users.
The internet is full of unusual food recipes and dishes as different users try different cooking methods and ideas to innovate new dishes. One such unique food recipe which has caught the fancy of food lovers on social media is Butterfly Pea Ghee Rice. A food vlogger shared a video clip on Instagram showing the meticulous preparation of blue-coloured ghee rice which has a classic twist from the traditional recipe. It is a new culinary trend that has drawn mixed reactions from social media users.
The video clip was shared last week, by Pratima Pradhan, who goes by the Instagram username, thecookingamma. In the beginning of the video the food vlogger washes butterfly pea flowers and separates the petals. She then soaks one cup of rice for a few minutes before boiling some water in an earthen pot and then adds the petals to it. She separates the petals from the earthern pot.
Next she adds the soaked rice in the blue coloured boiling water and lets the rice cook in the earthen pot. She next adds ghee to the mixture. Next she takes another earthern pot and adds a table spoon of ghee to it. Next she adds Baeleaf, peppercorns, cashews and raisins so that they get fried to a golden brown colour. Next she adds chopped onions and slit green chillies for flavor. Next she adds the cooked rice to the mixture and the lets the rice be completely cooked on a slow flame.
She adds the cooked rice to steel bowl and when serves it on a golden plate covered with a banana leaf. The video has gone viral and has got 300,120 likes till now which are only increasing. Large number social media users commented on the social media post as many of them were surprised to see this unusual rice recipe which had blue flowers in it.

Dharmendra, Irrfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja, Shilpa Shetty, and Kangana Ranaut, played the lead roles in the film.
Meanwhile, Metro In Dino will mark the first collaboration of Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan. Aditya was last seen in 2023 release Gumraah alongside Mrunal Thakur. While Sara had two releases last month including Murder Mubark alongside Karishma Kapoor and Karan Johar’s Ae Watan Mere Watan.
