She is lady Singham, says Rohit Shetty while announcing first female cop film with Deepika Padukone
Fans are super excited to know that the Lady Singham in Rohit Shetty’s film will be played by Deepika Padukone.

Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty were busy promoting their song Current Laga Re in Mumbai. Meanwhile, Rohit also gave information about his upcoming film. He revealed Lady Singham will be non other than his Chennai Express actor, Deepika Padukone.
Fans are super excited to know that the Lady Singham in Rohit Shetty’s film will be played by Deepika Padukone and finally she’s the one who’ll feature in Shetty’s first female cop film.
At the Current Laga Re song launch, Rohit Shetty said that after a while all will know so he ceased the opportunity and revealed that his next film is Singham from our Cop Universe. “Every time I am asked about my Lady Singham and there is a lady lion in the new movie titled Singham Again” Rohit then pointed towards Deepika Padukone and said that she is the lady cop and they will work on this film from next year.

Rohit Shetty’s cop universe
Singham was first made in 2011 which proved to be a huge hit. In this film, Ajay Devgan played the role of a police officer named Bajirao Singham. After this Rohit Shetty made Singham Returns (2014) in which Ajay Devgan was again in the lead role. Then came Simmba (2018), the third film directed by Rohit Shetty, which was included in his Cop Universe. Ranveer Kapoor was in the lead role. After this Rohit Shetty made Sooryavanshi (2021) in which Akshay Kumar was in the lead role.
And now Rohit is not only coming with another Singham movie with Ajay Devgn but is also planning to come up with his first female cop film with Deepika Padukone. This will be Rohit and Deepika second collaboration after Chennai Express. She also has a dance number is Shetty’s Cirkus featuring Ranveer Singh.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha: Tabu-Ajay Devgn begin shooting for Neeraj Pandey’s next
MM Keeravani going to compose the original soundtrack of Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming film.

Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Tabu are all set to reunite once again after Drishyam movie series and Bhola. Both the veteran actors have started shooting for their next movie titled Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.
Writer and director Neeraj Pandey, who has directed films like A Wednesday, Special 26 and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, is now coming up with a new blockbuster film, Auro Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Ajay Devgn and Tabu will be seen in important roles in the film. Apart from them, Jimmy Shergill will also be a part of this film. This film is being shot on a large scale in Mumbai.
Interestingly, the music of this film is going to be amazing, because the music composer of this film is non-other than MM Keeravani. He is going to compose the original soundtrack of Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming film. Keeravani, who composed the song Naatu Naatu from the film RRR, has made India proud. And now all the big producers and directors of the Indian Film Industry are eager to work with him to make the music of their films special.
The shooting of the film Auron Mein Khan Dum Tha has started from Saturday. Last year, the pair of Ajay Devgn and Tabu in Drishyam 2 was well-liked by the audience. Now both of them are going to be seen together in this film as well. It will be interesting to see if this pair will keep the audience engaged in this romantic drama film.

Pathaan row: Yogi Adityanath says films should not have scenes that hurt people’s sentiments
Pathaan left behind SS Rajamouli’s RRR and KGF Chapter 2 to become the highest-grossing Indian film this year and is running successfully in cinemas now.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in a recent interview, commented on the Pathaan and Besharam Rang rows and said films should not have scenes that hurt the public’s sentiments.
Adityanath further said filmmakers should be careful while making a film and avoid such scenes that could trigger controversy. He continued that any artist, litterateur, or anyone with accomplishments should be respected.
He also said Uttar Pradesh has made a policy for films as multiple films are being shot in the state.
Earlier, Yogi Adityanath visited Mumbai and carried out a two days roadshow to attract investors for Uttar Pradesh. During his visit, the CM interacted with film actors, makers, and producers which hit headlines after Suniel Shetty asked him to protect Bollywood from the boycott and cancel culture.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s starrer Pathaan broke Aamir Khan’s Dangal record on Sunday and became the highest-grossing Hindi film. Siddharth Anand’s directorial, which is a part of Yash Raj Spy Universe, earned more than Rs 400 crore worldwide till date.
Ahead of its release, Pathaan became a topic of discussion on social media after the makers released its song, Besharam Rang. The song triggered a massive outrage on the internet and a section of users accused it of vulgarity leading to the #BoycottPathaan trend on Twitter.
Some of the users also slammed Padukone for wearing an orange bikini in Besharam Rang.
Further, Pathaan went for the Censor Board scrutiny following which the Board advised makers to make changes in its dialogue and its songs. The Board also suggested changing buttock steps from Besharam Rang which sparked a controversy on social media.
Cut to January 25, Pathaan left behind SS Rajamouli’s RRR and KGF Chapter 2 to become the highest-grossing Indian film this year and is running successfully in cinemas now.

English Vinglish to release in 6,000 theatres in China on February 24 on Sridevi’s 5th death anniversary
The film was also India’s official entry to the Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category for 2013.

Late actor Sridevi’s critically-acclaimed film English Vinglish will be released in China on February 24 to commemorate her fifth death anniversary. The 2012 blockbuster film will hit 6,000 theaters on the Chinese mainland, according to distributor Eros International.
Directed by Gauri Shinde, the film marked the comeback of Sridevi after 15-year hiatus. English Vinglish had its world premiere at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, where it received a five-minute standing ovation. The film was also India’s official entry to the Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category for 2013.
The comedy-drama film revolves around Shashi Godbole (played by Sridevi), a quiet, sweet-tempered, and naive housewife. She decides to go to the US to learn English after being mocked by her well-educated husband and daughter. After meeting friends in her new class, she starts to feel more confident about herself and affirms her importance through her attempt to learn the language.
The story of English Vinglish was inspired by Shinde’s mother who ran a business of spices and often wished she knew English to help further.
Kumar Ahuja, COO of Eros International, in a statement said that Indian films have gradually gained a foothold in the competitive Chinese film market, the second biggest in the world. We have seen a rising demand for Indian films in China Mainland, especially the ones which are culturally driven. We are excited for the audience in China to marvel at this masterpiece showcasing one of the most memorable performances by the late Bollywood superstar Sridevi, he added.
English Vinglish was released on October 5, 2012. The film also stars Adil Hussain, Sumeet Vyas, Priya Anand, Sulabha Deshpande, and French actor Mehdi Nebbou.
Sridevi was found dead in Dubai’s JW Marriot on February 24, 2018, where she was accompanied by her family to attend the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah.
