Do Aur Do Pyaar delves into modern relationship complexities via Kavya (Vidya Balan) and Anirudh (Pratik Gandhi). It tackles marriage challenges, infidelity, and the quest for renewed love amid chaos, offering an insightful portrayal of contemporary romantic struggles.
Do Aur Do Pyaar narrates the story of a married couple, reluctant businessman Anirudh, also known as Ani Bannerjee (played by Pratik Gandhi) and dental practitioner Kavya Ganeshan (played by Vidya Balan). Both of them are residing in Mumbai. The couple has been married for 12 years. But over the last few years their relationship has only been physical with emotional and mental separation prevailing.
The couple lacks warmth and is confined to their own side of the bed as they are sleeping with their phones instead of their partners. Kavya seeks solace with Vikram (played by Sendhil Ramamurthy) who is globe-trotting photographer, while Anirudh finds comfort in Nora (Illeana D’ Cruz) who is a young aspiring actress. But a visit to Kavya’s hometown rekindles the couple’s passion in the relationship.
Social media users who watched the film took to X and shared their reviews. One X user Rohit Jaiswal gave the film 4/5 star rating and said it is an adorable film. Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi have done amazing work and Ileana Dcruz impressed the audiences with her performance.
It is an uncomplicated film of a visibly unhappy married couple seeking love outside of their marriage. But everything changes when an unexpected incident reminds them of what their love used to be like in the beginning. The film is filled with beautiful moments and overall looks adorable. The pace of the film is slow in parts. Yet the film is a must watch for its realistic take on modern relationships Rohit Jaiswal said Do Aur Do Pyaar will do well with the urban audiences.
One X user Avik shared the early reviews of Do Aur Do Pyaar which said that it is a cute film and he thanked the makers for making such content.
One social media user Sonu K gave the film a 4 star rating out of 5. He said it is an adorable film which one can watch with his family.
