Actor Ranveer Singh is currently over the moon as he is receiving a positive response for his upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The trailer of the dark-comedy film was dropped on Tuesday.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar talks about the issue of female foeticide in India and stars Boman Irani, Shalini Pandey, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Deeksha Joshi in titular roles. The trailer shows how Gujarati in-laws are anticipating their daughter-in-law’s second child and want a boy desperately.

But, how does Deepika Padukone come into the picture? Why fans are talking about the couple’s pregnancy? Did Ranveer insinuate about Deepika’s pregnancy?

Is Deepika Padukone pregnant?

The speculations started when Ranveer, in an interview during the trailer release, expressed his wish to have a baby. When asked about his wish whether he wants a baby girl or baby boy from Deepika, the actor quoted his film dialogues and said that whatever God wishes to bless Deepika and him with, be it a boy or girl, it will be a true blessing so no choice there.

His statement sparked Deepika’s pregnancy rumours and fans couldn’t keep calm and are celebrating already. However, the couple is yet to announce their family plans, which is not going to happen anytime soon, officially.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film Pathan opposite Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The film will mark her fourth collaboration with SRK after Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, and Happy New Year. Apart from this, films like Project K opposite Prabhas, The Intern opposite Amitabh Bachchan, and Figher opposite Hrithik Roshan are lined up in Deepika’s kitty.

Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, is currently gearing up for his film Jayeshbhai Jordaar. He is also shooting for Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani opposite Alia Bhatt. He will also appear opposite Pooja Hegde in Cirkus directed by Rohit Shetty.
