The Kerala Story makers announce next project Bastar, the film is scheduled to release on April 5, 2024

Director Sudipto Sen and producer Vipul Shah, the makers of the Kerala Story, have announced their next project Bastar. According to the filmmakers, Bastar is based on true incident and is scheduled to release on April 5, 2024. The film’s poster shows shows a forest amidst huge clouds of smoke. A red flag on one side and rifle on the other side was also seen in the poster.
Film enthusiasts commented on the tweet shared by Sunshine pictures, announcing the next project. One fan requested the makers to cast Vidyut Jamwal in the film. Another fan said he will be eagerly waiting for the film to release. The fan hoped that this movie will be equally hard hitting in terms of exposing the truth. He congratulated the team in staying united in facing the industry backlash for the Kerala Story.
The Kerala Story, which released on May 5 2023, is written and directed by Sudipto Sen. The Kerala Story stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani and Sonia Balani in lead roles. It is produced by Vipul Shah and crossed 200 crores at the box office. The controversy on the Kerala story started since its trailer release. The film had claimed that more than 32000 women from Kerala has been converted to Islam and had joined the terrorist organization ISIS. Later the figure was deleted from the trailer.
The Kerala Story sparked a political row with many calling it a propaganda film. Celebrities’ like Kangana Ranaut, Ram Gopal Verma and Vivek Agnihotri came out in its defence. On the other hand, some celebrities’ like Naseeruddin Shah and Kamal Haasan expressed their displeasure with the film. The West Bengal government briefly banned the screening of the film.
Talking to the media, Sudipto Sen said no political party should have spoken against the Kerala story. He expressed that he had never prepared for the backlash. He said he was prepared for the reaction and opposition. He asserted that he never expected a political debate on the subject.

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were rumoured to be having a romance last year. The pair was seen together on several different occasions. On May 13, the pair exchanged wedding rings at their Kapurthala House in New Delhi, but they kept it quiet until then.
On September 24, over four months later, the couple had their destination wedding in Punjab at The Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Prominent dignitaries like New Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, cricketer Harbhajan Singh and their close family members , Sania Mirza, Manish Malhotra, and others also attended the dreamy wedding.
Regarding Parineeti Chopra’s career, she recently starred with Akshay Kumar in Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue. Based on the life of Chief Mining Engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, the movie was a biographical drama.
She will also appear in a biopic costarring Diljit Dosanjh that is based on the life of the late Punjabi Singer Amar Singh Chamkila. Pari will play Amarjot Kaur, Diljit’s character in the movie. The Imtiaz Ali-directed movie is anticipated to be released on Netflix early in 2024.

The powerful guest duo’s great chemistry is evident in the small video clip. With a clever exchange of leg-pulling, the two amuse themselves and the audience with their clever answers. When KJo questioned Aditya about the rumours that he was dating Ananya Panday during the show, he responded wisely and with a cunning grin, saying, ask me no secrets, and I’ll tell you know lies!” The host was impressed with his response.
Furthermore, the teaser increases the suspense for the sultry exchanges as the host invites the couple to try out some off-screen role-playing if they dress up. The Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani actor responds, Handcuffs, to this, saying that Disney+ Hotstar can’t handle it.

Arjun responds, Aashiqui toh zaoor karta, kiske saath pata nahin, which astounds Aditya, who exclaims, What!!! and Arjun quips, Just joking! with a cheerful accent. Arjun continued to admit throughout the show that he also wanted to put an end to some of the rumours that had been spreading about him.

Animal box office collection: Ranbir Kapoor film makes Rs 660 crores
Animal showcases a violent world set against the backdrop of troubled relationship between Ranbir’s character Ranvijay Singh and his father Balbir Singh, played by Anil Kapoor. Ranbir’s character is protective and obsessive about his father’s love and is seen threatening everybody who comes in the way of his love for his father.

Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga continues to do well in cinemas in its 2nd week. According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala the film has made over Rs 660.89 crore worldwide in nine days of its release. Animal was released in cinemas on December 1 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malyalam.

The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri.
Although the film is running successfully in theatres, a section of critics and viewers have criticized the film calling it misogynistic and graphically violent. The film was given an A certificate by the CBFC ahead of its release. Apart from Ranbir the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri, Suresh Oberoi and Prem Chopra.
Recently speaking to the media Bobby Deol said there is good and evil in every human being and what gets the evil out of you is some situation. As an actor you think as a character. He said he was doing nothing wrong. He said he was right in whatever he did. He said as an actor he forgot to judge what is right and wrong.
